TLDR It’s a great toy, it’s strong, colorful, but it might break quickly and isn’t super quiet. PROS: The color variety is so wonderful and much more diverse than most other toys The price is definitely affordable, and the product is decent at this price point of about $20 This wands texture is pleasant! It’s smooth and easy to clean. It also doesn’t have the tendency to pick up hair or fuzz like some other toys can. A pro for me, but maybe not for others is that this wand is pretty strong. It might not be great for first time users but I definitely enjoy its power. I love that this toy is rechargeable! Its battery life is decent for the price point, and it can be used for a bit of a longer session, depending on the power setting you have it on. While I didn’t often use it in water, it’s worth noting that it’s water resistant at least. CONS: The main downside of this toy is that it tends to break easily or quickly. I’ve bought this toy at least three times because it would break at least annually (but sometimes as soon as 3-6 months) It’s also not super quiet, but the sound can be dampened by using a blanket. This may be an issue for people who have thin walls or don’t have a lot of privacy. WHO SHOULD BUY People who are interested in trying a wand, but aren’t able to/worry about investing in an expensive toy. Someone who is tired of buying batteries for their current/past toy but don't mind a shorter lifespan of their toy. Someone who doesn’t expect to use it as an everyday toy. This thing has great power, and the first one lasted years. The second one lasted about a year or so. The last one made it about 6 months and never really worked great (very loud and rattling), so hope you get one of the good quality ones. At least they’re cheap?

This product gave me years of enjoyment. Now that it won't hold a charge anymore, this will be a post-mortem review. Summary: excellent value for the cost, already have another in my cart to replace it. Since it doesn't charge anymore, I decided to disassemble it and post a picture along with the review, to help others understand what they are really purchasing and decide if the cost & features are right for them. Note that I had to force the end-cap off, cut an incision on the outer layer and remove screws. This obviously prevents it from future use. All vibrators in this style are designed and function essentially the same. There is a battery, a simple motor that rotates and generates a vibration, and a controller board. (In this particular unit, the battery looks like an AA, but ISN'T.) So the real differentiator between similar products will be: (1) programming (2) size & ergonomics and (3) price. As others reviewers noted, the programming on this one isn't always helpful during, ahem, certain moment. Shibari could easily change the button programming on their board, if they wanted to. Better programming would be the center button for the on/off/pattern selection, leaving the top & bottom for increasing or decreasing strength. For me, the programming wasn't a deal-breaker though, considering the other factors. Size and ergonomics, for me, were quite good. Some devices are larger and some are curved. But for me, the smaller size and simple shape made it easier to store discretely in a small space, or travel with. And, since the head of it flexes, during the heat of the moment the lack of any curve or fancy shape doesn't matter to me. The buttons, however, could be somewhat more raised. Shibari could do that by slightly modifying the outer skin's mold. Finally, the price is right for a toy like this. They're simple mechanical devices and they wear out. You can spend 5 times as much or more, but you won't get that much more value. You'll still eventually discard it, and the money you spent. So this product's price point is a better value. For me, this is the best balance between price, size and programming. Shibari could earn the extra star from me by changing the programming. But other than that, it was pleasure to own and use. Time to buy it again.
