The raven zz arrived looking happy with only a few blemishes, one leaf looks ripped/eaten, one leaf has a hole in the middle. Also a couple of small stems weren't rooted when I did the tug test and came right up out of the soil, and one of them was rotted. I put the one that wasn't rotted in water to try to propagate some roots. Overall, it appears to be a healthy and strongly rooted plant. It's really beautiful! It is also bigger than I expected. I anticipate it will do well. The cover pot, however, looks like they pulled it out of the garbage can and shipped it. It's cracked in a large U shape and has paint gobs on the bottom and inside of the pot. While the packaging for the plant itself inside of the nursery pot was done well, the cover pot is shoved in the bottom of the box with no protection. It is also so snug in there it's hard to pull the cover pot out of the box. My guess is that's the reason for the cracked pot, it really needs a wider box and some cushioning. Four and a half stars for the plant, zero for the cover pot. Edited: The company replaced the damaged pot free of charge, however, they sent me a new pot that is too small. ... show more

My plant is definitely beautiful and bigger than expected even though there are some damage and wilted leaves. This buying/shipping process was rough. My original purchase was made August 31st and I waited until September 19th (supposed arrival date) and the tracking said the item was never received at the carrier. I reached out to customer service on Amazon and a replacement was issued. So kudos to Amazon customer service. The shipping with UPS however could be a lot better. My replacement did get to me a lot faster but you can see in the photos the box was completely beat up. The plant itself has some wilting and some leaves are dried and dying but it’s still a viable plant with lots of life in it. ... show more

My daughter has wanted a Pink Princess Philodendron for a long time. I dont know why they are so ridiculously expensive, but every one I have found locally has been at least $75 for a 2" pot. I've been keeping my eyes open for her and I came across this sale deal of $27 for a 10-12" plant. This is a nice size plant! It was delivered timely and packaged really well. Such care was taken in wrapping it to protect it, so I was quite disappointed with how much damage there was. 4 leaves were broken off completely, another 4 were cut or torn and one looks like a new leaf that is so wilted I'm not sure it will make it. I trimmed the plant up and I think it will be ok with some love from my daughter. ... show more

I found this large box at my door and couldn’t imagine what I had ordered that would be so large! My plant was big healthy and shipped with much care! Easy to grow! It has been sitting in the same spot since it arrived and is already shooting off new leaves. I went to throw the box away and to my surprise there was a beautiful white pot to C sit the plant in so there was no cleaning up soil at at! I went to repot it and realized some of the rizones I don’t even know how to spell that correctly the root balls basically where they store there water were mushy at the bottom out of the whole Plant I was able to save for sure like two clutters some rotted already I placed them all separate and I have two that are trying to stay alive but yeah, I am a newer plant parent but out of the 50 plus plants I have it’s the first one that I’ve not been able to save, and everyone said it was the easiest plant to have lol not in my case. ... show more

Wow! is all I can say about this plant. I should probably day two plants because that’s how many I received in this one pot. The leaves were beautifully variegated with pink and green. The roots were super healthy. I would buy this again and again. I can’t recommend Costa Farms enough to buy this plant from. These plants aren’t cheap if you buy them online either. I love how care was put into the packaging. It was clean and neat, and it doesn't get much better. The plant is very nice size, healthy and sturdy, outside of a few leaves that are flimsy and seem to be dying, but I can see that there's new growth coming in as well. I'm going to love this plant once it's at its peak. Just add water and you're all set. I'm definitely looking to buy from Costa Farms again! ... show more
