Cat Palm features solid, green foliage. The Cat Palm is great for large spaces. It does well in spaces that have bright, indirect sunlight. Place Cat Palm in a spot that receives bright light (5 or more hours). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 2-3 cups and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Cat Palm sit in water or overly soggy soil.The height at dispatch is approximately 32-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Cat Palm is potted in a 10-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.The Cat Palm is a slow grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Cat Palm, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. I'm really hoping my unlucky streak with house plants is over because this cat palm is beautiful 😍!!! It came a day early and was packaged far beyond better than what I expected. It looks like there's some damage on two stalks due to some pretty yellow and brown areas close to the soil, but there's also three tiny stalks with leaves coming up. I'm a plant novice, but haven't noticed any mites or other pests/issues. Although if I'm being honest, I've only looked for dusty residue or moving things in the soil and on the plant itself. Bonus with buying through Costa, there's an app! Your plant care is right at your fingertips!! I'll definitely be growing my collection through this company **UPDATE** Michele Branch was infested with spider mites upon delivery! It took those pesky mites about a week to do a ton of damage ... show more

Decent plant. Healthy etc. I called Costa farms to request a new pot as I did not want to send back plant since it was fine. Asked if I can return just pot to Amazon. Unfortunately no since Amazon is now considered seller. I will either purchase direct from now on or purchase in store plants if I want a decorative pot with it. Now I purchase only pots from Amazon.
