Im so disappointed with my purchase. I paid so much for such a small plant. It said 2-3 ft tall on the description and what I received is barely a foot tall. I can’t believe I paid $50 for this.

First off, this is a beautiful, healthy plant that arrived carefully packaged. I was thrilled to find it all intact, with no broken leaves or spilled soil. I really love everything about it and am thrilled to have it in my home. The pot is sturdy and nice. I think the price is quite fair for what you get -- and I would feel confident purchasing from Costa Farms in the future. So why just four stars?? The plant is advertised as two to three feet tall. Granted, if you measure from the floor to the tip of the leaves, you're past the two-foot marker. But I always measure plants from the dirt to the top of the leaves, without counting the underground part. And by that measure, the plant I received is barely 14" -- if you give it a good stretch. Although the plant is healthy and beautiful, it certainly doesn't meet my expectations for a two to three foot tall plant. Maybe a few years down the road . . . . . . One other minor complaint -- the box included an insert for how to care for a ficus, and the shipping documents indicated that I received a ficus when in fact I received a rubber plant. I have written customer service asking for the rubber plant care information, which I trust is forthcoming. All said, this is a beautiful plant and I think it is fairly priced for what it is. And perhaps, most importantly, I would order from Costa Farms in the future. But I don't feel like the size comports with the description.

This plant came well packed with cellophane around the pot keeping most of the dirt in. Some made it out suggesting the box wasn't the right side up the whole way, but in-all, I think it shipped pretty well. The plant was super healthy and could use a drink but clearly wasn't dried out at all. I did see some older reviews talking about things arriving in poor condition or almost dead and also that it didn't live up to the size expectations. I'll say I didn't experience packing or shipping issues, but it's definitely not in the 2-3 foot range. Even with a generous angle, it's barely 20 inches tall. Again, this is a healthy plant and I'm sure it's going to thrive in our house. It's beautiful and the deep green color is what our room needed. But if you were trying to fulfill a design and counting on a taller plant, this sample size of one might suggest you need to buy your plant in person to ensure the size you need. I'm happy with this plant. I'd just suggest they advertise it as 1.5-3 feet to cover people's expectations.

Plant is of high quality and great condition even though it was outside for much of the day in the snow. It is full and healthy and looks great! The leaves are healthy, well hydrated with no spots or browning. The decorative container blends into my space well. The price is a bit higher than what I would like to pay by about $10, but it is in much better shape than what I can find at the box stores for that price, so maybe it is worth the price. I will definitely consider buying more plants from this company in the future.
