Aloe Vera features variegted, green foliage. The Aloe Verais great for small spaces. It does well in spaces that have bright, direct sunlight. Place Aloe Vera in a spot that receives bright light. Water your plant about once every 2 weeks with approximately 1/2 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Aloe Vera sit in water or overly soggy soil.The height at dispatch is approximately 7-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Aloe Vera arrives in a two-tone, 4-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.The Aloe Vera is a moderate grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Aloe Vera, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. I got this plant 3 months ago as an early Christmas gift, and it's still healthy! But I would recommend getting the nursery pot, because even though it was pretty, the nicer white pot was still plastic, and Aloe Vera prefers ceramic or terracotta pots. The soil was also kind of low quality and tended to hold in moisture, so I had to repot it in fresh soil. But the plant itself was beautiful! I was worried about making this purchase based on some not so great reviews, but I went for it and I am so happy I did. The plant came well wrapped and took a little work to get it out of the box without spilling dirt everywhere but I did it in the kitchen sink so no issue, the dirt was even still damp. At first, I was surprised to only have four stalks, but within a month, I'm up to 8!!! This sits in my master bathroom where four people shower regularly (why can't kids use their own showers!!!) So I'm not sure if the humidity helps, or what, but I am so happy with how this is growing. I swear it gets noticeably larger every day! **UPDATE - this baby won't stop growing!! I am so impressed! The pot it came in is flimsy-ish plastic but it is part of why I chose this item instead of others, I didn't have to re-pot it or spend additional money on a pot. It is not in an area where I worry about it getting knocked off and/or cracking so it works for us. Plus the colors match our bathroom. The only thing that would make this purchase better is if it came with the little plate to catch extra water after watering it. Otherwise, it is perfect and I am so happy with it! I bought a spider plant in the same pot from the same seller and had equal luck with that one too! I will be back to them for other plants in the future! ... show more

Healthy aloe plant in a lovely pot. The soil did not come out because it is well wrapped for delivery. Tall "aloe leaves" with one new baby aloe leaf.

I ordered through costa farms as I felt comfortable in the fact if something happen to the plant during delivery it would easily be replaced or even refunded. My plant arrived during extreme cold temperatures , when I opened it one section was broke, discolored and all of it very flimsy. Needed less to say after a day they just continued to died falling apart. After I took the above picture of the plant while waiting to get a replacement so that it could be seen. When doing the replacement request it required my to go through Costa farms. I bought this plant in Jan. I submitted to request, 2 phone calls after all this wait I get a response that the said I had to go through Amazon. I can tell you my experience with Costa Farms was awful and very disappointing. I finally got a partial refund as I had a pot with the plant today. I will need to purchase another Aloe Vera plant in which I will now switch to another company for. I hope anyone who purchase from Costa farms does not experience what I did. I do not leave bad reviews normally, but I like having good customer service and products. Thank you. ... show more

I received my aloe vera plant 3 days early so I was happy about that. Of course, when I opened up the packaging, there was soil everywhere due to transport, which was to be expected. One of the stems had broken off during transport, which was again, no surprise. The actual plant was very loose inside of the soil which probably happened during transport. Hoping for the best that it will survive. But what I was really disappointed about was that the pot that it came in was just a cheap, plastic pot. For some reason, I thought it was a ceramic pot. I must have read the item description wrong. But for the price of the plant, I think a ceramic pot should be included instead of plastic. Shipping was faster than expected, arriving about 4 days early. ... show more

The plant was delivered lying on its side. I was a little concerned that the pot was broken, but thankfully it wasn't. Once I opened the box, the plant itself was beautiful and healthy..... But the aloe plant had come out of the pot, leaving all the soil loose in the box, with all plant roots exposed. Hopefully the poor roots weren't too traumatized. I have ordered plants from here before and they have always been beautiful. I can only assume that this was due to poor handling from the drivers, and not Costa Farms themselves. ... show more
