I’ve been using a Nesco dehydrator for many years, And I purchased this on the advice of my sister. This is great for veggies, and herbs, jerky also. I use the Nesco for incubating my homemade yogurt. Had to cut a few of the trays so they only had rings that would layer up over 1 quart jars. Took maybe 5 trays to do that. But I had bought extra trays to be able to do such. And it works out very well. After putting jars into the “well”, I cover the jars lightly with Saran Wrap, and a think flour sack cotton towel. Put on the top and set to 95*F. Keeps the yogurt from getting a hard skin on top, and the towels keeps away any dust, fruit flies etc. I get a lot of use from both units! ... show more

    • Quiet and reliable
this is my first years using a dehydrator for drying herbs and flowers for my tinctures, salves and teas. I love this thing. It does six trays at a time, at 120F for 5 hrs. Saves me so much hassle and mess as last year I dried everything in the sun and it took forever and I had trays everywhere. I can't say enough good things about my Cosori and it is so quiet I forget it is even on but it has a bluetooth connection so my apple watch gets a message when things are done. Love it ... show more

Works great and as expected. Love that is has the full door attached. Last one I used had. A plastic door that just slid off. Feels sturdy, like it will last a long time. Not to heavy though, so easily stored on a shelf when not in use. Dried first batch of pears well and evenly. Dried jam almost too well, that it broke into shards, so make sure and don't over dry, as this can do it! ... show more

I’m a year in and I haven’t had any issues with it. Sturdy, good craftsmanship. I also have a hot pot from cosori I think they just make good stuff!

    • Smelled terrible Everytime we used it.
Food tasted like the smell. Thought the smell would eventually go away. It didn’t.
