The Auderwin solar spotlights arrived in a well packaged and wrapped cardboard box, each individual light was wrapped separately for added security in shipping. The lights are extremely easy to put together, just connect the pole to the light and add the stake to the pole to insert easily into the ground. The directions say to let the lights charge fully in the sunlight or indoors for at least a full day before use. I followed the directions according to the package and have not had any problematic issues. After the lights are charged there is a little button on each light you can easily push to select low, medium or high depending on how bright you want your spotlights. Of course depending on what level you choose will depict the length of time the light will last. I personally chose the high and brightest setting just to see how these spotlights work for our yard. I was so surprised at both the level of brightness as well as how long each light lasted. With one full day's charge on the brightest setting, my large pecan trees light up very nicely and the lights last all night long with no issues. I am definitely pleased with this purchase and will be buying more to complete the rest of my lighting in our yard. These definitely add a new and updated fresh look to our yard, we like the added safety as well from having our yard not being so dark as well. ... show more

These lights are bright, even on the lowest setting. In the photo is two of these lights (you can't see one of them in the picture). It's been so cloudy for so long here that I'm not sure they're completely charged, but they work well. The instructions say to leave them in the off position and let them stay in the bright sun for 2 days before use, but this time of year here hasn't given us more than a few hours a day, if that, of sunlight. I'm seriously considering buying a couple more sets to use as path lights. They have a large solar panel on them, and a switch to select between low, medium and bright light. My photo is two lights on the low setting. They adjust to shine upwards and down quite a bit, but just know that they sit fairly close to the ground, similar to other path lights. Their stake is sturdy. They come on at 5 p.m. and are still shining at midnight, but beyond that I can't say because I'm asleep. I'll update in the future as needed if there's any change in performance, but barring that, I highly recommend these Auderwin solar lights. ... show more

I was actually impressed with how bright these can be when I got them, as well as how long the batteries last on a full charge. They come with both a ground spike as well as screw mounting options, so that is nice. Once installed, cover the light sensor by placing you hand over the solar panel, then press the waterproof button to turn them on full bright. You can press the button again for half bright, and again for low bright, and again for off, very simple to use. On a full charge, these actually lasted all night on full bright, although they were only around the low brightness setting output by morning. But that is better than a lot that I've used that are totally dead by 2-3am. It's winter, so sunlight is scarce here, and they still seem to get enough charge to last a few hours right now, but are dead by the time I leave for work in the morning well before sunup. I figure once spring rolls around and we start getting decent sunlight again, these should be back to full charge during the day. Very happy with these, actually ordered more already! ... show more

These solar landscape spotlights from Amazon seller Auderwin are a great find with lots of nice features: 1. With 6 lights for $50, the per unit price is only $8.33, a great bargain for a powerful spotlight. 2. With the current 30% off coupon, the per light price is an incredible $5.83. 3. Most landscape lights cast 40-120 Lumen of light; these lights each cast up to 630 Lumen. Powerful. 4. For their size, each light head features a 4" x 3" solar panel...much larger that comparative units. 5. The solar panels are made from the new, more energy-conversion efficient polychrystalline material. 6. Unlike some spotlights that have a fixed head, the light head articulates for precise pointing. We closely examined each of the six lights, looking for blemishes, burrs, poor assembly, corner gaps, etc., but found none. We left the lights out in the sun for the better part of the day and then tested their light intensity in a darkened inside utility room, with the only light source coming from one of these lights. As the photos demonstrate, the light cast is impressive, with the seller advertising that the cast is approximately 630 Lumen on the high setting. The on/off button on the under side of the light allows you to cycle through three settings: low, medium, and high intensity light. We tested the unit at its "high" setting. Unlike some competitors that feature both a stake and an extension rod to lend height to the unit, this light features just the stake and, when attached, is 12" from the top of the light to the tip of the stake. Place the stake into the ground an inch or two, and the light begins around 8 inches from ground level. Even at the "high" setting, the seller indicates that the light will last for about 10 hours before running out of juice, only to be charged with the morning's daylight. That is good enough for us. Overall, we consider this 6-pack to be an exceptional bargain, especially with the 30% discount coupon as this review is being written. We've deducted one star because, while the light head does articulate, newer, more flexible landscape spotlights are now separating the solar panel from the light unit, with each of the two pieces articulating independently from the other, allowing for maximum positioning of both the solar panel to the sun and the light element to the feature it is showcasing. Nonetheless, this light unit is somewhat flexible and certainly powerful and long-lasting and worth a serious look. ... show more
