Got this product and have used it 3 times. The fire feature works well enough. But the entire top is peeling and flaking and started doing so within 2-3 months of having it- and not just a little but substantially. So, we will unhook everything soon and put both pieces in the grass and re-paint with a high heat spray paint so it’s not a total loss and is an easy cost/higher effort to make it look nice. The side table is not peeling but both will need paint to match. I am storing this under a covered patio so after a year it shouldn’t look this crappy. If it weren’t for the paint issue it would’ve been great. Also, I got the blue glass in a separate purchase and it looks as stunning as the pictures make it look here so I’d recommend that extra purchase.

The product shows a picture with blue glass beads. It comes with "free lava rock" which in my opinion is misleading the customer. Should show lava rock in ALL the pictures. Also, the description states it can hold the gas tank on its side within the unit itself. Both my wife and I read and re read the description and it is clear they simply borrowed the description of the unit the comes with a tank holding type table. The tank sits on a ring they do provide. But is fully exposed. Lastly, the unpacking instructions are on the inside of the box when delivered. Yet the very first instructions are how to unpack it from the bottom. Fortunately I had already done this. But it strikes me as idiotic to not have the instructions for unpacking either printed clearly on the outside of the box. or at least a packing slip with "important unpacking information". Start here type offering, again on the outside of the box. As the other reviewer stated, it was hard to unpack. And who wants to repack it and send it back. review update. We have changed our rating to 3 stars for the actual performance of the units once we added the blue glass beads we wanted originally. The unit performs on a single strike and the heat generated is nice. It is lighter than it looks and easily placed where you need it. The company did respond and offered us the glass beads. We had already purchased through an alternate method. So, 5 stars for customer service response, 1 star for original issue, and an overall 3 stars. Ultimately, would I buy this again? Yes, with what I know now.

Absolutely love this fire pit. Easy to assemble. Have had it four months and had no issues. It’s the highlight of my backyard and with Covid , all entertainment is outside. All my friends want one.It clearly stated in the description that lava rocks came with this product but I replace them with turquoise rocks amd they sparkle. Definitely adds ambience And warmth to the backyard. It Keeps you very warm on cold evenings.

The picture doesn’t match We got lava rocks not glass which made a big difference And it won’t light up unless we use a lighter But who wants to repack it and send it back?

Did a lot of research to ensure size & heat would meet needs for our back deck. It’s been very good and generally has lived up to my high expectation given the price. Looks fantastic & puts out enough heat to keep a group of 6 warm with temperatures in low 60s, maybe high 50s. Only issues: cover is cheap. Has been 9 months and it already has tears. Lighting can be a little tricky sometimes if it’s been a while but have never had it not light and haven’t had to replace battery yet.
