  • Solved my issues on a 2018 Rig!
I bought my rig prebuilt here on Amazon back in 2018. At that time, it was mid-tier specs. Not the best, but not the worst. It was fine for the games I play most often. Destiny 2, Overwatch, Sims 4, Genshin Impact. I've noticed that performance dropping a lot over the past year. Overwatch 2 started having lag issues, where the first minute or two of the game I was essentially useless to my team if I wasn't kicked for inactivity. The new gacha Wuthering Waves was completely unplayable. I even noticed issues when I was working, just having Slack and two Chrome windows open was enough to freeze up my entire computer. As a gamer and a streamer, obviously this wasn't gonna work for me. I really didn't want to shell out the money for a whole new rig right now but I was convinced that would be what I needed to do but I sent someone my specs and the issues I was having and they suggested to just try replacing the RAM first. I was working on one 8gb stick. I bought these and quadrupled my RAM. The difference is AMAZING. My computer runs so smoothly now, I'm kicking myself for the fix being that simple and that cheap. To note: I am a PC building newbie. I bought this rig prebuilt and haven't touched a thing in it. Swapping the RAM took a 5 minute youtube video to confirm which slots I could put it in and 5 minutes actually clicking it in and I was up and running again. On a fresh restart with no programs open, my RAM was sitting at about 70% before. After I opened Slack and Chrome, it'd be at 90%. Playing a game took me to 99%. After installing these babies, I immediately tried opening as much nonsense as I could. I had Chrome and Discord open, I had an updater running, and I loaded into Overwatch 2 without so much as a stutter and a peaked at 42% RAM utilization. My computer is useable again, my games are playable again, and I am so glad it was that easy to fix. ... show more

  • Upgraded from one 16GB ram to 32gb(two 16GB sticks). Plug and play!
These are amazing!!! My computer is so much faster. First picture is my old ram and second are the new ones. 10/10 I just want to start off by saying I am NOT tech savvy, at all. My computer started throwing BSOD(blue screen of death) errors for memory management. I ran some tests and sure enough I had a memory problem(I have that in real life too, maybe they have ram sticks for my brain too? Lol) Anyways, So I asked around a computer forum and someone suggested reseating my ram. I looked up a video on how to do so and did it. Even though I was super nervous as I had never messed with computer components before. It helped for a few months and then the errors started again. So I asked around again and many people suggested replacing completely and even sent me a link to these cards based on my system and comparability.((I have a prebuilt gaming PC. My husband bought it for me as an upgrade to this inky-dinky all in one PC I’d been using since 2007ish. It’s a ROG Strix G15.)) So I bought the card and after many tutorials on how to replace RAM I finally stopped being a nervous baby, opened up my PC again, and took out the old RAM stick, which was clearly very cheap. These new sticks fit perfectly! I upgraded from one single 16gb ram stick to two 16GB ram sticks totaling 32gb. Holy wow it’s so much faster!! A bit of a warning, I had to really press down for them to click properly. I was so scared I messed something up because of how hard I had to press them into the slots. I booted up my PC and everything booted up perfectly. IT WORKED! It’s been about a month-ish since I replaced the stick and no BSOD errors!!! My games run faster too. Wish I did this a long time ago! They also look cool lol(I personally don’t care about that but wanted to say so for those that do care). They are compatible and are plug and play. All I had to do was install the sticks and turn my pc back on.(I unplugged the PC completely and installed them). So if I can do it, A 30yo woman who knows nothing about computers, then you can do it too!! Lol YouTube is a life saver on how to do these things. So if you’re like me and are a newbie to computer builds then watch a YouTube tutorial. I watched a simple and quick video. If you’re having the same issues I definitely recommend these ram sticks! They are *chefs kiss* ... show more

  • It’s Corsair. Buy it.
Corsair really just makes great quality stuff. Works with a bunch of my computers, does what it’s supposed to (and more) and is really a great size for any computer. The “computations are accurate” and it works like a charm. Great job Corsair.

  • Great, "plug and play" memory sticks
I've been doing a lot of workflows in the fusion page of Davinci Resolve and needed to upgrade from my 16gb setup. These sticks have been great so far and the only "extra" setup I had to do upon installing them was boot into BIOS and enable XMP. So far I'd highly recommend, but I'll of course update this in the future in the event that anything comes up (sooner than expected). ... show more
