We for the longest time had plastic plates cuz I didn't want something breakable and heavy with children. I finally was tired of having cheap plastic plates and more and more research is coming out saying heating plastic is horrible for our health. So we decided to make the switch. These are lightweight, they're compact and fit in my cupboard fantastically, the pattern is cute, and I'm not having food stain and ruin the color. My favorite type of plates, just note that when these are dropped on the wrong thing, they dont break, they shatter. Could be a negative for people with children, but overall they are more resistant to breakage.

This is my third set of Corelle dishes. I like to switch up patterns every few years. They are very functional and look nice overall. The main reason for purchasing is their light weight. They are easy to stack and put away in my overhead cabinet. Please note if you are looking for “made in the USA”, the mugs that are included in the sets are made in China. Apparently their Stoneware is made in China also. Makes NO a sense to me. ... show more

    • “City Block” style: Simple but classy and with 6 settings it’s a good value.
LOVE the pattern design; fits my personality nicely….not totally one color/has just a little bit of a not-too-fussy design on it to break up the white color. To me it is understated, quiet class….I can just imagine sliding two fried eggs, some crispy hash browns and a huge side of bacon on the big plate on a lazy Saturday morning while I listen to some relaxing jazz like Dave Brubek’s “Take Five.” Perfect! The pieces are fairly light (which is nice) and while I wouldn’t serve a fancy Thanksgiving or Christmas feast on these dishes I think they’ll do nicely for ‘everyday’ use. Also, all the pieces (big plates, salad plates and bowls) all stack tightly and don’t take up much space when stored. I bought two orders (12 settings) and I’m very happy with my purchase.     • Absolutely terrible customer service from Corelle!
Love the product however 1 damaged bowl was received in the set that arrived 1/11/24. I filled out the damage report on the Corelle website with the complete product description along with 3 photos of the bowl. They said the photos didn’t show the damage which it did. I resent the photos with the same product description & order number. Then they said they needed the order number! Again I resent all the info with photos of my prior submissions. Then on 1/19 I got 2 different emails on the same day. One asking for the order number again & one saying the bowl would be replaced & I could expect to receive it within 7-10 days. No bowl by 2/27. I sent a follow up saying it had been 6 weeks since I was told it would be shipped attaching their email. Bowl received 3/3/24! I am really happy with the dinnerware. However I won’t reorder Corelle again. If someone does order Corelle product I highly recommend returning the entire dinnerware order if there’s any product issues unless you have lots of time to wrangle with their difunctional web site & customer service representatives. The 5 Stars are for the dinnerware only. No star for customer service. ... show more
