I had just moved into a new home and I have a room that I wanted to make into a home office. I originally wanted a desk from Ikea but the dark grey color was no longer available. I surf around looking for a suitable replacement when I came across this desk. At first I wasn't sure because it was slightly smaller than what I was looking for but I did love the open concept and the simplicity of straight lines. I just got my desk today and I am pretty amazed at how easy it was to put together. Even came with a tube of glue to set the dowels. Once I finished putting it together and set it up in the spot by the windows. It is absolutely perfect. The chair opening is big. Bigger than I thought it would be as I am not a small woman and I wasn't sure if the opening would be too narrow. Looks are deceiving because I have a lot of room to even cross my legs underneath. Lastly, this desk is heavy. I thought it was the box that was just heavy with all the packaging. But the desk has some weight to it so it would budge easily. Overall, I am pretty pleased with this desk! It matches my home decor nicely and I can't wait for finishing setting up my home office to enjoy! ... show more
