I am disabled and after breaking and dropping a bunch of other dishes I was told about this brand. Proudly made in the USA was a major selling point for me. When they arrived they were nice and clean looking, very lightweight, and when i reheat food I was very surprised that the whole plate was not extremely hot like other dishes I had used.     • have had a set for close to 50 years
i still have many of my moms original and then 30 plus years i got 2 sets of these as well i love them so much smooth easy to care for just clothe rag and water and soap and they come super clean and feels very clean and smooth they stack up very smartly in the cabinet i have 16 or each they stack nicely in one row with room for more if you have a huge family (like i had 4 kids) they never break unless you say they never break then next drop one will break so just never say it im sad that i know i will kill a bowl or plate since i have said this today but they bounce nicely more times even on a hard floor the sandwich plates are 8 inch not the 6 so thats kinda nicer in my mind as teh origal 50old were for coffee cups and have teh depression for the cup in them and worked a lids whilst you move from kitech to when you read teh paper but the new ones dont just fyi they are just small plates and coffee and tea re not a thing anymore i heard.... lol ... show more

I recently bought a home and I wanted a set that was for every day use and whenever the family come over for dinner. When we get together there are over 16 people and I got tired of wasting paper plates. Over 20 years ago my sister was gifted a corelle set and to this day she continues to use it daily so I decided to buy 2 box of the 16piece winter frost set. I fell in love with them and so did my husband! They are so much easier to clean and decided to get more, but I didn't want the mugs. I saw these set and bought 2 of them which gave me a total of 20 set (I always like a few spares just in case additional growth to the family). Like other reviewers have mentioned they are really dirty! The initial set we bought at JCPenny and they were fairly clean. Of course I still washed them, but the ones that came through the Amazon purchase was really nasty. When they packaged it, it must have been still wet as there was moisture in the box, the exterior of the box was pristine. I was able to hand wash it away which gave me a chance to inspect all of them. A couple of them were flawed. For example some of the bowls fit perfectly stacked but there were a couple of odd ones which you can easily tell. Edges of some of the plates were a little warped, don't really notice it until you stack them. Also a couple of the dessert plates had tiny particles of something infuse with the dish. Not sure what got infused or made a black speck mark but it's really tiny. Other than those flaw, I am happy with my sets. I give it 4 star because of those items mentioned above. ... show more
