This thing was awesome. I don’t have a huge garden but it gets weedy and exhausting to weed/till by hand. This did it in about 15 minutes. It took a little muscle to hold and is about as heavy and as big as our weedeater. It sucked the battery down to around 30% in the 15 minutes but so does our leaf blower at full power, it saved so much time weeding. Seems to be durable, but this is new to me so have only used once so far. Assembly was super easy. Took no time at all. Definitely would recommend!

The 9-inch tilling width and 7-inch depth are enough for most backyard tasks. The four steel blades handle soil effectively without getting stuck. It’s lightweight and comfortable to hold, which makes gardening less tiring. I like that it works with DeWalt 20V batteries, so you can use the same batteries for other tools. Battery is not included, but overall it’s a solid, practical tool for anyone who wants to keep their garden beds prepared easily.

The media could not be loaded. To start it arrived in good shape and well packaged. I unboxed it and began assembling it. The instructions were kind of vague and weren’t very helpful, you will need some hand tools, Phillips screw driver and Allen wrenches the parts on mine were difficult to remove so the handle can be installed. All the parts were extremely tight fitting and hard to maneuver. After it was together I installed a 5amph battery in it and it worked perfectly. I’m using it in flower beds that I have already turned with a shovel and broken up the big chunks of soil in. I bought this to finish the soil and blend in compost. It worked great for that. The battery did not have a full charge I did a couple of beds twice and only used about 15%. I’m happy with that. I’m really very pleased with the tiller so far, seems to have plenty of power and mixes the soil well. I would have given it 5 stars except for the difficulty assembling it.

What a great little tiller. I was very happy with how well it did. It is heavy enough to do some of the tilling on its own. And with a little downforce using the handle it did even better. I must have missed somewhere that there is a digital gauge to show you your battery life. That is a bonus. Used in my overgrow 20x10 garden and made quick work of it. I’d say about 30-40 mins to till it in both directions. Bear in mind this is not a gas powered 200 lb rear tiller. If that is what you are comparing it to , that is apples to oranges. But if you have a small garden and already have dewalt 20v batteries. This is a no brainer.

Let's be honest, this thing isn't going to till an acre garden. I have a Troybilt for that. The point of this bad boy is raised beds, flower garden areas, tight places you can't get into with big equipment. Works like a charm and is SUPER light. I had no problem having it dig all the way up to the base. A plus is the battery gage right on the handle to let you know what is left in the tank.

Assembly was easy and all materials feel good quality and durable. It also has a battery indicator which is rare in power tools. I used it to mulch my raised garden and it just took a couple of minutes.
