It started working great, was super impressed with it. I was able to clear my sidewalk and driveway on day one, about 3-4” deep. I used it on the second day with about another 3-4”, did pretty decent. That was the end of that. Now it sounds like it starts super sluggish and stops. At some point it cranked up again, but the blade doesn’t rotate anymore. Very disappointing.

I might give this a five star but it hasn't snowed since I got it. My DeWalt battery slid right in with no effort. So that part's good. With so many battery powered devices the days it is really nice to be able to use the same ones on several told. It was really easy to put together. It took me a few seconds to realize it can be used with, or without the extension rod. In fact I thought it would be way too short to be useful, but then tried it on the top of a large table on the back patio and that was helpful being shorter. One word of caution though, the wind was blowing and the first push I made, snow was blown back all over me. Work upwind is my advice. I'll try to add a video if we get some more snow before I need to travel to the South where snow is not likely.

This unit works well as when the snow is over 3 inches. However, this unit lives residues that later on need to be removed with shovel. Not a really clean removal. The other issue is that is not really comfortable to operate unless you are 5.5 high and there is no directional as to where the snow is thrown that option would be help. The batteries last enough to do a sidewalk and a small driveway. However the batteries have to be purchased separetly with the charger. It’s like buying a brand new car with no battery. Defenetly needs a few improvement

Worked fine but only once. I literally used this for one snow fall and the product worked but you could not change the direction of the flow of snow and it started burning up and emitting a burnt plastic smell. By the time I noticed the smell the snow removal was completed but after that it would not work even after holding the trigger down.

This shovel only goes a few seconds before stopping on its own. Battery has a full charge and we were using the safety and power as described in the instruction manual. Those few seconds that it did work the shovel didn’t remove all the snow down to the surface. It would have done a semi decent job if it had just stayed on. Definitely not worth the money.
