  • Extremely Disappointing and Misleading Product
I received this electric two-battery snowblower today — conveniently during a snowstorm — and I couldn’t be more disappointed. It advertises that it can throw snow up to 25 feet. In reality, with about 5 inches of dry, powdery snow, it barely managed to toss it 3 feet. Every once in a while it might reach 5 feet, but many times it couldn’t even throw snow past its own edge, which is only about 6 inches. That alone completely destroys any confidence in what this machine claims it can do. The design is also poorly thought out. It requires two batteries to run, yet they include only a single-slot charger, meaning you must charge each battery individually. After fully charging both batteries, the run time was about 20 minutes total before it needed another 3 hours on the charger — again, one battery at a time. So the ratio is essentially three hours of charging for twenty minutes of underpowered performance. To make matters worse, the batteries are extremely difficult to remove from the compartment. You’ll use more energy wrestling those out than you will actually clearing snow. The machine also clogged constantly — every couple feet — even though the snow was light, dry, and fluffy. That’s a huge red flag. I bought this unit at $250 just a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s down to $199. Honestly, I think the real value is closer to $50, and even then I’m not sure it would be worth the frustration. If the company hadn’t falsely advertised what this snowblower is capable of, I’d be more forgiving. But with claims this far from the truth, I can’t describe it any other way than what it is: a piece of junk. Save your money and your time — this snowblower isn’t worth either. I’m updating my review after attempting to use this snowblower for the second time, and unbelievably, the experience has gotten even worse. After waiting six hours for both batteries to charge again — remember, it needs two batteries but only includes a single-slot charger, so you have to charge each one individually — the machine once again delivered only about 20 minutes of total run time. Then it was right back to another six-hour charging cycle. This has turned into a nightmare. I truly don’t understand the glowing reviews this product supposedly has. At this point, I honestly question whether those reviews are real, because there is simply no way this is a five-star product. Not even close. The misinformation on the product page is unbelievable. During today’s brief 20 minutes of use, I was clearing about 5 inches of snow. Occasionally it managed to throw snow about 5 feet, which is still nowhere near the advertised 25 feet. The temperature outside was 17°F — not warm, but not bitter cold either — and in the middle of clearing, I hit either a piece of ice or a small rock, and the entire chute shattered. Not cracked — shattered. This is supposed to be a machine made for snow, yet one small impact completely destroyed the part that actually throws the snow. There is no justification for the price of this product. It is made of cheap plastic, performs nowhere near what the company claims, and is simply not built to handle real-world snow conditions. I am already working on a return because I refuse to pay this kind of money for something this poorly designed and falsely advertised. Please, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this snowblower. It is a complete rip-off, and no consumer should have to deal with this level of disappointment or wasted time. Don’t let companies get away with putting this kind of product on the market. ... show more

  • Lightweight option
The media could not be loaded. This cordless electric snow blower is lightweight and suitable for daily home snow clearing of driveways and sidewalks. Its cordless design makes it easy to use without the constraints of a power cord. It comes with a large-capacity lithium-ion battery for long battery life and quick charging. It's easy to push and its moderate weight makes it suitable for women and the elderly. The adjustable snow outlet allows you to blow snow into the desired location. It's quieter than a fuel-powered snow blower and is environmentally friendly with no exhaust. It's ideal for clearing fresh, light snow, but may be less effective on thick or icy snow. Battery life is shortened in extremely cold weather. Its medium working width makes it suitable for small to medium-sized yards, while larger areas require multiple clearing sessions. It's well-suited for the average household. ... show more

  • One Charger, Two Batteries, Do Not USE with wet snow
I just received the snow blower, and much sooner than Amazon said I would, which is great because I could get some snow early next week. Assembly was quick and easy. We'll see how it works when I get some snow. About the only thing I can think of that was a bit of a let down is that it comes with two batteries, but one charger. I'm going to have to order another charger so I can charge both batteries at the same time. Update will follow I'm sure. FIRST UPDATE: I cannot find a way to contact the retailer to try and purchase a second charger. If anyone has contact info for them, can you post it? Thanks. SECOND UPDATE: I finally had a chance to use this item. Word of caution, it DOES NOT work well with wet snow. The device clogged up every several seconds and I have to constantly clear it out. In addition, the snow does not get blown 15-20 feet as advertised. It's barely 5-6 feet at most. Maybe with very cold, powdery snow it will work better, but for me here in central Indiana it does not. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this. THIRD UPDATE: Getting the batteries out of the snow blower is also difficult. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove them. I cut my hand on the lid trying to them out the last time I used it. If anyone has any ideas on how to remove them more easily, I'm all ears. ... show more

  • Good snow blower and easy to use
Very good snow blower. It has good power and throws the snow without problem. The size is ideal for cleaning the entrance and the sidewalk quickly. The battery lasts long enough and is super easy to use, no cables or gasoline. It works well and fulfills what it promises. Excellent purchase

  • Problem with snowblower
I am 86. I bought this to try and keep sidewalks and driveway from snow build up. I wanted something light weight that I am able to handle at my age. I tried finding several more batteries and another charger because I figured the batteries wouldn't last very long. We just had a light snow so I started plowing. First off trying to get the batteries in and especially trying to get them out if so very difficult. The batteries lasted 15 minutes of plowing. They were fully charged before I began this adventure. The snow would stick in the shoot and had to keep stopping to clear the snow out of shoot. I was unable to find the extra batteries so I called Amazon and felt a little ripped off on this machine. To me it is worthless and I will probably not use it again. But the representative said they would refund my money and I wouldn't have to return the machine. Wow, am I a happy camper. This machine might work for younger folks but not for old ladies. LOL And, I don't usually write reviews but felt this one was needed for Seniors with not so strong hands. ... show more
