There's a bit of a learning curve because my body is so used to a regular shovel. I kept wanting to bend down like I normally would, but really didn't need to. Even though it's only 10 lbs, after the snow layers on it, it does get heavier. My hands definitely started to hurt after a while, only because unlike a regular shovel, they are in the same position for the entirety of use, and when cold, it gets a little painful. Keep in mind, I am almost 50 yrs old, weigh 140lbs, and have ZERO arm muscle so after the first use, my bicep, shoulder and back were pretty sore, like after a workout, only because I used muscles that don't get used. My point is, if your younger or in better shape than me, you'll have no trouble. Now for the pros: It is very easy to remove snow with this. I used it on about 5.5 in of wet, heavy snow and I quit before it did. I can tell you I used it for about 30 minutes and still had more than ½ of the battery life available! Once I figured out the best angle it was easy to maneuver. It was nice to avoid loading and throwing wet snow onto a traditional shovel where it just sticks and kills your lower back. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because of the weight once it's covered in snow (although it might not be the case if it's light and fluffy) and the uncomfortableness of my hands. But again, if you're young, in shape or have any kind of muscle, you'll be fine.

The media could not be loaded. I just received this snow shovel anticipating another snowy winter in Utah. I put this together in just a few minutes without needing any tools. It has nice features that are not in other snow shovels like the ability to change the direction the snow is thrown. This is important as other snow shovels I have tried just blow the snow forward, which is not efficient and requires extra work. I especially like that this is battery operated so no power cords are needed that always get in the way or having to bother with messy 2-cycle fuel. I've been able to use this on our first snow of the year. We got about 4 inches of snow, and this snow shovel did great.

We bought this for my father in law that has hurt his back shoveling snow. This is a game changer. It seems to have plenty of power and it’s lightweight so he can easily carry it outside. He really enjoys having it and we love that he is no longer getting hurt removing snow from his deck. I hope it will last for many years.

My second year with this thing, have not have any issues so far. I got snow that are knee high, I'm in MN. it get stuck with thick snow but regardless it get the job done no complaints 👍. Would I buy it again?, sure if there something that is better with good price of course. Also I don't ever remember using the second batterys maybe once or twice. I guess it depends on ur yards 🤷♂️
