This was advertised has a room darkener....it does not darken the room. I could have purchased a regular shade for what this does. We put this up during the day and when i woke up the next morning the light was shining in. NOT HAPPY for the price of $50.

As the years pass by things become easier and better for our convenience. This cordless roller shades made me replace my old ones. Do not have to worry about blinds getting bent because there aren’t any. You can pull it to where the sun can peak through and shine. It is not darkening the sun comes through quite a lot with this but it brings in the natural light. I needed to replace the blinds on my door. They would fall apart just by looking at them. I tried to repair, but as soon as I fixed, the next one broke. These shades are fairly good quality, but they are not true blackout (Grey); A lot of light still comes in (It does not affect me as I have black curtains in addition to). But no, you cannot see in or out through them, so they are good for privacy. It was very simple to install. They come with all necessary hardware. You even have two options.
