This vacuum is honestly pretty disappointing. I bought it for my 16-ft above-ground pool, and the first time I used it, the suction seemed decent—but it kept getting stuck in random spots and would just stop. At first, there was a lot of debris in the pool, including some small twigs, so I figured that might be the problem. I went ahead and manually removed the bigger stuff like leaves and twigs, then tried again… but same issue. This time, it was getting stuck on even the smallest wrinkles in the pool floor. My pool doesn’t have many wrinkles, just a few minor ones like any above-ground pool would. It’s frustrating because I’ve never seen an above-ground pool without at least a couple wrinkles. Overall, I’m really not happy with it. If it can’t handle slight wrinkles, it shouldn’t be marketed for above-ground pools—maybe inground only. ... show more

Amazing, for the price and it actually works. My pool had so many leaves. This vacuum got every single one of them up. I changed it as soon as I received it. Thought it was missing the charger but it was hidden in the box. So, about one or two f bombs but I found it so I can laugh about it now. It has gotten stuck on a big pile of leaves but I pushed it off and away it went. Pool should not have so many leaves now that I have a GREAT vacuum. This thing is great. Cant complain for its price point. Does a decent job. Only problem is have is the battery life. Doesn't last very long.

I bought one of these for our above ground pool. I followed the instructions in every aspect. Upon being fully charged and “ready” to use, I went to use it. It worked for around 60 seconds. Then it parked at the side of the pool and stopped. I took it out, turned it off, opened it and it had very little in it. I put it back in, turned it back on, and it did the same thing. Thought it was a dud and ordered a replacement. The other one did the same thing. This thing works like your male partner during allergy season. It’s so sensitive, not going to get the job done, and you can’t give it allergy medicine. Don’t buy this. ... show more

Eh, it's OKAY. It does suck in some leaves. I use it in an 18 foot above ground pool, but it doesn't move around very much. The battery doesn't last as long as it claims either.
