This lamp is nice looking and is easy on the eyes with 3 levels of warm lighting. The lamp looks nearly like real wood from a couple/few feet away but with a modern like spherical shape. Even to the touch it seems almost real but without the real wood texture, This is not like the sub-par photocopied wood laminates but is a step up and looks good for what it is. My wife and youngest son (who needs a desk lamp) immediately started to claim ownership of the lamp once they saw it in action. So I didn't stand a chance. So my review combines all 3 of our opinions & usage. You adjust the light level by touching the power button (a soft press if that). It starts out at the lowest light level which is good if turning it on in the dark. The only bad thing is if someone is sleeping directly facing it when you power the lamp down you have to tap thru the higher brightness levels to turn it off. I prefer this build up over other the other lamps I have that build down and start with the brightest light first. The charge seems to last a long while so far. We have yet to plug it in to recharge it yet - after several days and nights of use. The higher up the lamp is located, the brighter it seems as well. The solid dome top directs the light primarily down and outwards. I'm not likely to use it as a reading lamp while sitting in the recliner BUT it is very soothing and warm when left on in a room. It does come with a charging cable with a USB connection. If you already have a charging wall wart or multi-port USB adapter, then it is not a big deal. But if you are one of those folks that needs to have a wall plug or thinks it should include a wall wart too, then it will be an issue from time to time. But for us, not a big deal. Just plan ahead a little so recharging the lamp and the ever increasing number of rechargeable USB devices you may have is not a challenge for you.

This is a beautiful and convenient light but loses charge after a few days, by the last day it’s highest setting is much dimmer. There are three settings of dimness (low, medium and high). Unfortunately, if you are on the low setting, you must click through the medium and high to turn off. This is irritating if you had it set on low before bed and have to click through the strong glares of light before turning it off.

I am surprised how much I love this little lamp, to be honest. I was expecting to like it, but certainly wasn't expecting to love it. It's actually quite nice. It has a great finish to it. It's like a soft plastic feel. And it provides ample lighting, but when you put it on the lowest setting, it's a great night light, too. I decided to put it on my coffee table, even though I was planning to use it in my bedroom, because it looks so nice, which is a surprise. It has an understated elegance to it, and I would say that the battery life is great. I haven't even charged it since I bought it, and I've been using it, you know, an hour here or there every night for about two weeks, so that's a solid battery life, if you ask me. I love the subtleness of the diffuser. It really makes it easy on the eyes, and it's got a good size, too. It's not like a mini, mini lamp. It's a little bit taller than a foot, I think, although I'm sure the exact specifications are in the description. But it's a good size, and it has a nice touch to it. Very sensitive touch button. No issues at all. I would highly recommend this item. I'm very pleased.

The three different brightness’s can really help set the atmosphere anywhere. They can be adjusted with a simple tap, and the lamp responds efficiently. The design of the lamp itself can work as a nice aesthetic. This lamp is quite nice.
