This product is actually very nice. Lightweight but seemingly made well. We ordered and received it and were excited to install. The installation instructions are VERY difficult to understand. Should be simple but unlike any bracket I have seen in my 80 years. After trying every way possible I went to Amazon and Utube and could not find anything simply showing how to install so we returned the item. This site shows two videos, why two showing basically the same thing. They were easy to install because they fit into the holders for the old blinds. They are very light weight metal but efficient in keeping light out. The weight should be easier on the pulley & keep it from wearing out. Very happy with them. PS I do not think these are cut a .5" inward. Do check. It is excellent that these have cords, as cordless are impossible to reach up to pull them down in many cases. If small children are around, loop the cords & tie out of reach. ... show more

The blinds went up quickly and fell down just as quickly. The brackets are cheap, stamped metal with an even worse rivot. I eventually bent mine into place and locked them down with a flat blade screwdriver.

The shades themselves are fine. The “metal” brackets used to attach the shades are cheap junk. Instead of easily latching they bend right in your fingers. I installed 3 blinds, so 6 brackets. I think I got one to latch properly. The old design where the blinds header just snap into place is far, far superior. I wouldn’t buy these again, simple for that tin, Chinesium bracket. The blinds were packaged very well. Size and color were exactly what I ordered. Mounting brackets were different from old blinds, so we had to remove the old and install new ones, but all went well . Good product.

It’s really hard these days to find blinds that still have cords to raise and lower them, so I was pleased to find these. They work well and appear to be well made. Happy to recommend them.
