16 years ago my grandma ordered wooden blinds for me when I purchased my house. The... IDK what they're called, but the decorative top parts are held on with these flimsy plastic things. And they break constantly. I'll have to keep buying these for as long as I have these blinds, I guess. As far as them being a perfect replacement, they totally are. They do what you need them to do.     • You can re-install your faux wood valance
I’m so happy I’m able to re-install the faux wood balances on my wide slat Venetian blinds! The clips get broken so easily when you take the blinds down for any reason. I’m happy to find new clips. They’re a little tricky to install but can be done, you have to be patient and careful with them. Could be a little sturdier, but that might make them harder to clip the valance onto them. Clips fit just fine but they are a bit too long for the blinds I have. Valance sits too low and you can see the blind frame. First world problems I know but something to consider as we do not have curtains on this set of blinds!
