This lift chair is superb. Before it, I had a Lazy-Boy that I purchased in March 2022 for $1600.00. It was only a rocker-recliner, no heat, no massage and no lift. It was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in Now almost 80, legs aren’t as good as they once were. I gave the Lazy-Boycaway and took a chance on this leather chair. This one was almost 1/3rd of the Lazy-Boy and is heads snd tails above it - the leathers is soft and pliable, it is so comfortable you sink in it. The massage and heat portion of the chair are so relaxing, and everything works great. Even for me, an almost-eighty old man, I put it together on my own. For me it took longer than advertised but that’s because of age. The only part I had a bit of difficulty with assembly were the instructions on how to connect the two metal parts that prevent the chair from falling backward but I eventually I figured it out. As far as I’m concerned, this chair is worth it’s weight in gold - and, yes, I’d buy it again and again - I love it and now my legs don’t hurt as bad getting up; the chair dies all the work for me. I researched many lift chairs before selecting this one and overall it was a good choice. The chair arrives in two large boxes. The first box arrived on the scheduled date, but the box was badly damaged and partially open -- I'm surprised Fed Ex even delivered it. That first box is about 40 pounds so between the weight and large, damaged box, it was difficult to get into the house. I was very worried that the motors had been damaged and there was no way of checking until the second box arrived. Surprisingly, the second box arrived the very next day and was in great condition. I assembled the chair myself and it took only about 15 minutes. It will be very helpful to have two people for the asssembly as it's difficult for one person to hold the chair part and slide the metal pieces together -- difficult but not impossible! Connecting the electrical cords is very easy as they are all color coded. However, check to see if any of the ends are oval shaped rather than round as it may have gotten crimped during shipment as mine did. It's an easy fix -- gently squeeze the oval back into a round shape or the two ends will never connect. The chair is fairly comfortable but it is definitely not for a tall person, that is anyone over 5'9". My husband is 6' and just barely fits in the chair. The headrest could not accommodate anyone over 6'. So far everything works fine, lift is quiet, heat & massage are nice features and it reclines about 160 degrees. ... show more

The chair arrived undamaged and was easy to assemble but the chair was uncomfortable because it was too small, it did not fit my body, I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 250#. I had to pay a shipping charge of $80.00 to the seller For shipping two huge boxes with a combined weight of 135#. My return cost to send the chair back for credit is $383.00. My total cost for the chair including shipping was $700.00. So it will cost me $317.00 to get a refund of $700,00. Tried contacting the seller ( Coolsleep ) and the mail box was full which indicates they don't return calls. Note Amazon is worse because you are dealing with an internet robot that was deigned to cover all scenarios. I still can't find a person at Amazon with warm blood to speak to, only customer service robots. Two tidbits of advise; Set in the chair before you buy and Jeff Bezo, stick it ! ... show more

Beautiful chair. Fairly easy to assemble. That being said,the chair description is totally off. It is very short and for a smaller person. The back isn't for a taller person and the footrest is very short. I would guess about 5 ft 6 or 7 max..
