This lift chair is superb. Before it, I had a Lazy-Boy that I purchased in March 2022 for $1600.00. It was only a rocker-recliner, no heat, no massage and no lift. It was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in Now almost 80, legs aren’t as good as they once were. I gave the Lazy-Boycaway and took a chance on this leather chair. This one was almost 1/3rd of the Lazy-Boy and is heads snd tails above it - the leathers is soft and pliable, it is so comfortable you sink in it. The massage and heat portion of the chair are so relaxing, and everything works great. Even for me, an almost-eighty old man, I put it together on my own. For me it took longer than advertised but that’s because of age. The only part I had a bit of difficulty with assembly were the instructions on how to connect the two metal parts that prevent the chair from falling backward but I eventually I figured it out. As far as I’m concerned, this chair is worth it’s weight in gold - and, yes, I’d buy it again and again - I love it and now my legs don’t hurt as bad getting up; the chair dies all the work for me.     • It feels a little wobbly when using recline
I came home and my husband had already put it together. It was a tiny bit more involved from what the video showed. You had to make sure to "clip" things together. But he knew that from other recliners we owned. When I push the button to recline, the chair wobbles a little... as if it's not level (but it is). There's enough wobble to make me uneasy about using the feature to help you exit the chair (I don't need this, but I'm scheduled for back surgery and was told I may need assistance. It's nice looking and comfortable which is why it rated a "4" from me. The massage and heat are really nice features, too. Don't let this review stop you from buying it. I think you will like it. The price; the ease of assembling 4 parts(I am 79 and my younger sister 76 put it together for my 83 yr old husband’s use), the quality appearance, the 2 cup holders’ convenience for pills, the free delivery to my home in rural CentralTexas. I've been asked to revise my review. The shipper claims they sent an advance email stating that my chair would be shipped in two boxes. We did not receive a notice that my chair would be in two boxes. When we got the single box I was caught by total surprise. If they were to have marked the box like one of two I would not have been so upset that they forgot to send a second box. Yes, I did get the remaning box the next day that was a pleasent surprise. The shipping could be done much better. The chair is all I wanted it to be. very comfortable and easy to use. I would have liked the right-hand controls to have been closer to the from so it would be easer to use and see. You have to feel aound for it... ... show more

Chair up and down button is in a very awkward spot. My father has a hard time moving his arms. The buttons are small and midway back the length of the arm. I have to move it for him. If it was on the same controller as the heat/massage controls, that would be great.

The massage strength is not enough for me, to call it a massage, is more a vibration. The chair is well padded, reclines very well, has heat which is soothing. Easy to use controls. The description is a recliner with heat and massage for the elderly and I guess perfect for some, like me. Easy to fall asleep in. chair looked great and worked great for the first five months then the leather started peeling off the one arm, contacted the co. and was told too bad . Contacted Amazon and they said because of what the seller told my there was nothing they could do. The chair still works but looks like a piece of crap and at 76 years old I'm now stuck with it! a total waste of 600.00 ... show more
