We bought this AND the Coleman 13 by 13. The reviews are what sold us. As a few of the reviews suggest, yes, this model is, in many ways, superior to the more advertised name brand version. Side by side the Coleman "corners" or stitching seems sturdier, as in the "arms" won't give way or the material won't rip. We also prefer the vented cap of the Coleman to this model, although the design isn't necessarily better. The ease of the "push up and snap" central button makes this model far more superior to the Coleman's cumbersome and somewhat daunting set up. The design for the extension legs is slightly different, but both are effective and seem fairly sturdy. With a sudden gust of wind, if not secured, both fly up and away with equal force. As for the bag, each comes with attached wheels for easy transportation across level surfaces. The zipper design on the Coleman lends well to "ease of extraction" of the spider-like base but not for repacking. Whereas this model with its slide over and pull down is much simpler for repacking. Bottom line, we like them both but generally recommend this model when asked. The ease in set up makes this the winner. ... show more

First off The best customer service I’ve ever seen from a seller For the price this is the nicest looking canopy you can find One down fall :/ this thing catches EVERY single blow of the wind and it flaps like crazy BUT anchor properly and it’s fine.. One person can put it together and up in ten minutes, moving it takes two people. USE the bags provided and put rocks in them.. Would buy again and again ... show more

Great sunshade and size!! But let’s be honest – it’s not a bomb shelter and never was intended to be. So when it’s super stormy and windy you should take it down…or you run the risk of it ripping and bending. It doesn’t come with any setup/takedown instructions, but luckily I’ve owned one before so I pretty much knew what to do. One thing I learned really quickly that warrants your attention: The 4 ropes to stake down the canopy are super flimsy. The ropes broke within weeks. So I put my thinking cap on and came up with a great solution. I bought 8 stainless steel carabiner hooks (4 to put on each stake; 4 for to put on each corner of the canopy) and about 30’ of stainless steel 1/8” chain. I cut the chain with a bolt cutter and connected it to the hooks on the stakes and canopy. That hardware will outlast the canopy and won’t weaken with the weather. Anchoring my canopy that way is amazing! I added 2 pictures to show what it looks like. Highly recommend spending the extra money for the hardware to make sure you successfully and effectively anchor your canopy. Reasonably priced and bought those on Amazon as well. ... show more

We have bought a pop up canopy every year for the last 5 years. This one was the easiest ever to put together and pop up! No, poles to insert and metal objects to insert. Just put the four corners over the plastic corners and push up the center. The corners rotate out and push up. So easy, probably could have done myself but my spouse helped. Probably about 30 minutes from out of the box to enjoying the shade. Highly recommend and we’ll probably buy another! Thank to the person that invented this canopy! Love Cooshade so much we bought another! So easy to pop up! Quality is excellent and seems to be cooler than other popups. Excellent sun protection! Perfect size too. The table underneath seats 6 comfortably. I’d like to see cooshade add some type of attachments to have one or all sides for shade or netting for mosquitoes, flies, or yellow jackets. Would be a great option or upgrade for this product. I would buy the netting for bugs. ... show more

This is a great canopy. I really like that it is a little larger at 13' x 13' rather than most that are 10' x 10'. It is really easy to assemble and put up. The carrying bag is very nice. It is easy to fold up the canopy and put it in the bag. The only downside about the canopy that I can point out is that the legs are not exceedingly strong, so be sure to tie the canopy down if any winds are present. I did not do this initially, the wind picked it up and slammed it down to the ground and bent one leg. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy this, and I'm glad that I did. It's incredibly easy to set up and take down and it's great for protection from light rain, sun, etc. I'm not sure that it would stand up to heavier rain, but I haven't tried. I like the push pin system which let's it be put up by 1 person.

This is great popup so far. It looks great, we like the vent, since the arms go up the corners any rain moves towards the weep holes so it hasn't collected water like our old ones did in the corners! Its a 10x10 leg design so we can still use our walls from our other 10x10 popup but it also provides an overhang to make the coverage more like 13x13 and when we hang our lights around the inside, they no longer get rained on now. We use this up at a seasonal camping site so it stays up from April thru November and so far so good! I will say ours is pretty much out of serious wind being blocked by our RV, we do have it staked down and we have had no problems with it up to now. We do bungee it to the picnic table when not there. The fabric seems sturdy and the stitching seems pretty good on ours. So far a thumbs up! ... show more
