Pro: Frame seems sturdy. Easy to take down. Waterproof. Sandbags were a nice addition. Con: Set up definitely takes two or three people. Canopy was thinner than I expected and has a rip - I've only used it once. I spent a while searching for a top-level canopy and thought I had found one. If the canopy has not ripped, I would be very satisfied.

We use this on our deck during the summer and keep it out for the season. It makes a big difference in the hotter months and now our young children can be outside most of the day playing. We also hang lanterns and lights from the frame. Good tent!

This is built like a tank. Solid. Sturdy. It's big and square and definitely takes two people to assemble and tear down. Due to its solid build it is pretty heavy. It comes in a storage bag with a handle on top and two wheels at the bottom so one person can easily drag it to where you need it (note some easy assembly required). Quality feels excellent. Build is solid. Did I just repeat myself? This is a very good, high quality portable popup shade canopy. It won't disappoint!

This is a great canopy! Super sturdy and itโs HUGE! When you assemble for the first time, youโll want to make sure that you only half open it, insert the center post (round pole into the square center tube and make sure that the hand crank is set to the lowest point) - spread your canopy covering over the top e the entire frame and attach the Velcro at all four corners and strap in the center post hold synths top of the post - have someone help you spread the canopy out the rest of the way and use the toggle lock switches on each corner to raise them, they will lock into place and you can then use the straps in the center of the sides to secure them down (make sure NOT to have them strapped when closing!) nothing in the center frame locks in, (at least from what I can tell LOL!) - can either tether or spike down the corners if needed, but it even comes with 4 strap on sand bangs (if you pack and shake them again and agin while filling you should easily be able to fit over 40lbs in each!) - closing up is much easier than setup since you only need to attach the canopy the first time and can store it easily with the canopy (except the middle side straps I strap and I strap every time - but there may be some other way to strap them I didnโt notice) - Absolutely recommend this one and would totally get this again! 11/10!

I bought one of the very original "EZ UP" instant pop up canopies sometime around the early 2000's. As far as I know those are/were kind of the original of this type of pop up canopy. That was of excellent quality but after a couple of decades of occasional use and storage it finally failed. I left it up during a mild storm and the frame bent (whoops!). So I am comparing this pop up mostly to what I consider the original one by EZ up. I am also comparing it to another canopy by "MASTERCANOPY" that is a more residential/recreational version of a canopy more along the lines of the original EZ up that I also got from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P1CVJS5 This may not be entirely fair comparing a "commercial" canopy to standard ones but those are the other canopies I have to compare it to! This canopy is excellent overall. It certainly is heavy duty. The steel thickness and amount is noticeably greater than either of the other canopies. This canopy feels about 20 pounds heavier than either of the non-commercial ones I'm comparing it to! Even when packaged up it it i also significantly larger in size. So that is a good and a bad thing. The extra steel makes if feel much heavier duty and durable but it is also rather cumbersome to schlep around. There's no such thing as a free lunch I guess! The frame with center post design loses some slight clearance over frames that have an open center with angled supports (like most recreational designs). This canopy makes up for that by having longer legs overall. The locking pins for the legs and corners use a thumb button latch which is easy and convenient. The frame has a textured hammer toned sort of finish that seems extremely durable. The included accessories are also excellent. The carrying bag uses a large piece of aluminum to house the wheel axle and provide protection and support for the leading edge of the carry bag. There is also a generous additional pocket on the carrying case which is really nice for storing a side-wall and/or the sand bags. My wife and I were trying to decide which to take on our week long beach vacation (the beach allows canopies). We ultimately decided that if we were going for a one day event like a car show or something we would want the lighter and more portable "residential" canopy by MASTERCANOPY. For longer trips like our week long beach vacation where we'll be using it day after day we decided we like the extra durability and heavy construction of this commercial canopy by COOSHADE. Ultimately, while this commercial one is REALLY nice and very heavy duty, if I could only keep one it would probably be the residential one by MASTERCANOPY. It remains a very well constructed and heavy duty canopy but without the bulk and size (even when packed away) of this commercial variety canopy. Keep in mind that this is a heavy item. At the end of the day though I can't fault this canopy for being what it is. It really is an excellently made and very heavy duty canopy. In spite of that it is actually very easy to set up even all by myself, surprisingly even easier than the lighter canopy versions because of the way it is designed. I'm giving this canopy 5 stars because I expect it will last for decades with our family's occasional use.
