So this is my first screened in canopy. I have nothing to compare it to but I think it’s pretty decent. I bought it for my outdoor projector set up to be able to watch stuff outside at night without having bugs on me or the screen. My entire set up fits inside the canopy. I hang the screen on one side and set my projector on a tripod at the opposite side. It’s been awesome. During the day, I’m sure this canopy is fine at keeping out bugs. But at night when the projector is on and it becomes a light loving bug destination, then it’s not so great. I’ve had to make modifications to it, mostly a Velcro seal that runs along the top to connect the side screen section to the roof section since that’s where the bugs like to crawl in at. It’s made all the difference when it comes to keeping them out at night. But for daytime use, I have no doubt that the canopy is probably fine as is. As for set up, I’m a 5’3” lady that can put this canopy up by myself in 20 min. Sure there are some tricks to it to make it happen but it IS possible. And easier yet if you have someone helping you. Things easily slide and snap into place and the screen has enough Velcro straps that attach to the metal frame that it never looks like it’s sagging anywhere and are easy to secure and take apart. I never leave it up longer than a weekend so I’ve taken it down and put it back up several times and it gets easier every time I do. I never leave it out in the weather so can’t attest to how it does in the wind or rain. There are straps and stakes to secure it to the ground but I don’t have a lot of faith in them if a good gust came through. Overall I’m happy with it. Purchased this right before Memorial Day 2022. I waited for it to rain before I wrote this review. First, I am all of 4ft. 10in. and I honestly had a little problem in lifting up the Pop-up. I had to ask my daughter to assist me and she is all of 4ft. 9 in. So, needless to say, we struggled there for a minute. We finally got it to Pop-up and was only able to totally lock on one side at a top corner with the red button. It does keep the bugs away and also keeps you cool. I wanted to see what happened after the rain and so far, it's still standing. All in All, it's a good sturdy product. If short like myself, you may need assistance with the pop-up. ... show more

I loved this product, until it blew off the deck on a windy day, broke a leg, and tore the top. I thought it was tied down enough, but I guess not. This is a great product on a non windy day. It's not worth the money for sturdiness and longevity.

I am incredibly pleased with this. It was easy to set up. It is incredibly sturdy -- I unzip both flaps so the wind can pass through & it has withstood strong winds. The construction is top-notch! The design couldn't be more perfect -- they thought of everything, such as velcro pole ties & tie-backs to have the sides completely open. The zippers smoothly operate. I have a small table, lamp & two lawn chairs with plenty of room left. If the wind is light, we stay dry in the rain. My puppy & I stay dry & cool in the sun. ... show more

The height is my only complaint it's has a very high peak in the middle but the frame work on all 4 sides keep hitting my head and I'm only 5'7". Gonna have to put wood planks to keep from bruising my head. And it's at the highest level.

    • No more baking in the sun or getting soaked by rain

We used our canopy while camping in a heavy rain storm and only a few drips came through at the seams. Without it, we would not have been able to cook dinner. We use it often as a sunshade on our patio and it really does make sitting outside in summer a lot more comfortable. Get the white canopy for maximum sun screening, as it reflects more heat than the dark colors. The gaps in the screen where it attaches to the frame allow some insects to get in but it’s a significant improvement over no screen at all. Well designed, sturdy, and pretty easy to put up. We bought the beige color because the screen looked lighter and more transparent. However, it was not all that transparent. It is substantial screening and will obstruct your view just like all the others.
