Firstly, note that we were cooking with 12 year old Calphalon pots & pans we didn't exactly treat well, and that means we'd be happy with just about anything new....but that said, I've tried to take that into account in this review. Secondly, this set was HARD TO FIND on Amazon. I researched and scrolled for quite some time under different searches and finally found a brand/set/price that met my criteria (aluminum, copper etc) and thoroughly researched this set but didn't "save it for later". After deciding to purchase it, I returned to Amazon and searched on the specific brand, and still couldn't find it. And I TRIED!!. Finally, Amazon has a feature where you can track what you clicked on and that's how I got back to it. So if you're reading this review, congrats on finding this product 👏. As for the cookware itself, it was well packed and in perfect condition when it arrived. Some reviews noted damage so maybe they've improved the packaging. After a quick rinse, I hung them on the new pot rack I built as stacking them in a cabinet didn't do our last set any favors. They look AMAZING! The hammered copper is really beautiful. As for cooking, overall they're really good. I can definitely understand some review comments about the handles getting too hot. The design is such that the bottoms are a much smaller diameter than the tops, which is great for electric or induction, but not so much for gas, where the flame will impact the handles. We have a ceramic electric cooktop so it's great for that. And the lids are stellar. The vent holes prevent seepage from the lids which would burn on the cooktop and make it hard to clean, which in turn made it hard to clean the bottom of the pans....not ideal when storing them on a pot rack. The bottoms of our pans still look brand new. Also, the 4 lids are interchangeable on the 6 pots and pans. I didn't want or need a lid for each one but it's nice to have a lid that fits each fry pan to reduce splatters. Often, you only get lids for pots, not pans. Lastly, my only negative is that the nonstick surface isn't as nonstick as I was hoping, thus only a 4 star rating. I fried an egg with a bit of oil as recommended, but the oil disperses to the perimeter and not the center, where the egg was. It stuck and since then many things stick in that area, even though a little liquid appears to remove whatever residue is causing it. I won't scrub it with anything but the soft side of a sponge, no metal of course. I'm hopeful in time it will improve but not betting the ranch on it. Please note that some other sticky items fry fine, so not sure what the common denominator is on what sticks and what doesn't. In the end, it's unimpactful on everything but a fried egg getting the yolk out in tact. This 10 piece set cost ~$70 with tax, which is a steal. Most copper sets were WAY more expensive, so I expected there to be more negatives than the egg sticking issue. If that's the worst I can say (and it is), this set is worth buying!!!

The pans look really pretty on line and I was excited that it did not use Teflon for the nonstick material however the price was a little steep but I was willing to pay. After opening the box I noticed that the pans had some scratches on them and that was really disappointing because of how much the pans cost. I ended up returning the set.

They are the worst purchase ever. They get too hot, food sticks, even though they claim to be nonstick cookware, quality is very poor.
