These little lights are so perfect on our bedroom plant shelf! They look so stunning when lit up at night- like little fireflies. They add a really nice amount of light to our bedroom, too- really creates the perfect ambiance for bedtime. Highly recommend! Do note that you need to purchase your own mason jars (these are just lids and lights) Update: these lights stopped working, conveniently a week after the return window ended :( I tried putting the jars in direct sunlight all day but they only stay lit for 20 minutes max (some not at all.) super disappointing Update update: Sooooo, months after posting this review the shop owner contacted me. I honestly was not expecting anything to come from it and was surprised when I got the message! The shop owner not only refunded me but sent me a new set of lights (which now come with jars!) as a way to make amends. I tested the new lights for a little over a week before updating my review and all eight are in perfect working condition… AND areabsolutely beautiful!! Check out the updated pics I posted to see for yourself. So happy to have these back in my home. I will note for those interested in purchasing- they need A LOT of direct sun to charge. Even if it’s cloudy just one day they will not work that night. So, make sure you have a sunny spot to put them prior to purchase! Thank you Cooo shop- I ADORE my new lights :)

The lids have rusted a little over time, but nothing too drastic and it adds to a rustic appearance. The lids have succeeded in keeping out moisture and the solar cells and LEDs are still working after a year. No complaints. I'm updating my review and adding a star because I was pleasantly surprised to see these are repairable. In the heat of a second summer, many of the units stopped illuminating and I initially feared they would have to be discarded. However, the internal battery is a simple NiMH AAA type and with a screwdriver, it's a matter of removing two screws to open up the internal lid component and replace the battery. That's extremely welcome - I really expected something glued and soldered, so this deserves an extra star for avoiding landfill. Well done.

They shine brightly, charge quickly, and don't require any electricity costs. You can hang or place them anywhere — on the fence, in the garden, on the terrace, or along the pathway. These mason jars are actually thicker than I expected, which makes them feel sturdy and well-made. They’re a nice size and look beautiful when used as hanging décor. The only thing I wish I had checked before ordering is whether they’re shatterproof. It seems odd to market them for hanging use when glass and strong winds don’t usually mix well. Where we live, that combination feels like a recipe for broken jars. That said, the solar lights themselves are gorgeous! They charged quickly and give off a good amount of light. If you plan to use them indoors or in a sheltered outdoor space, they’re a solid option. Just something to keep in mind if you’re hanging them outside where the weather can be unpredictable.
