All in all, this is a really nice and clean look for a phone holder. The magnet is certainly strong enough but I'm sure if you hit the right or maybe wrong bump or pothole, it could bounce off. So far it holds my phone in it's case very well. Only thing I would say is because it's shorter in length, wherever you mount it if you have to move or swivel your phone, it may bump or hit something, so make sure you mount it in an area that you can clear things if you need to swivel your phone from vertical to horizontal. The base is a very small diameter so helps when you have limited spots to mount this. Mount is holding very well so far. Hope the mount tape holds. Love the stylish design and functions great! Plus, I have a 2nd one I can possibly use in another spot or for anyone else's phone riding in my car. ... show more

Good magnets small mounting area overall, mine came apart when they snapped together and i tried to pull them apart one separated from the base and the inner magnets snapped together, almost impossible to pull apart. I did eventually, but they chipped where I was able to get an edge, very strong, they just need to be blued into the base for added measures, I tried to put back together but no matter what i did the magnets flipped and stuck to each other, even when pulled apart and sat to close to the other magnet it snapped together again, I tried for 10 or 15 mins to reposition, but I failed every time, I am returning, your experience may be different, i would buy again if they resolve them from coming part when they connect together and pull apart, I should have slide to the side instead of just trying to pull apart. Not as bad when connected to metal, very strong in that situation not a bad thing, but when two come together very strong and hard to pull apart and in my case it pulled one off the base, making it useless. First, I have to say how compact this product is. It blends in with my Toyota RAV4 interior, keeping things tidy without needing to add unnecessary plastic on my dashboard. It's a perfect choice for anyone looking to maintain a clean and minimalistic car dashboard. Secondly, the magnet is impressively strong and stuck the dash easily. It holds my iPhone 14 with a phone case on. I can’t say that for the last dash phone mount I got, as I couldn’t get it to stick to the dash at all and had to return it. Thirdly, the value for money is great. I didn’t know it was going to be two mounts in the package, so that was a nice surprise and I was able to install a mount in my wife’s car as well. CONS: It doesn’t stick to leather or curved surfaces, which can be a downside if your dashboard isn’t smooth. In my case, I had to reinstall it a second time as it fell off at first due to the slightly curved part of the dashboard I put it on. I must say though, they did provide extra sticky circles to put on the mount to re install it which was convenient for me. Overall, this mount does the job well. This was great as it came with 2 so one went to my wife and one went to me. This is 2 reviews in one, mine and my wife. After 2 years of using them we have drastically different opinions. Mine: It held my phone in any direction I put. My phone only fell off once and that was because it slipped out of my hand when I was trying to pull it of the magnet. My pop socket did wear out excessively fast and went through 3 of them in 2 years. Then finally after 2 years the screw inside came loose and it would no longer stay in place so I had to replace it. Wife's review: It was great at first but after 6 months it kept falling off. We replaced the sticky pad on the back then it fell off after a couple of months. Replaced it again and moved it to a different location. Lasted about 6 months before it kept falling off. Replaced the pad again and moved it to an even more flat surface. Lasted a month before she just gave up having one. ... show more

Excellent grip even on my very slightly curved dash. Excellent magnetism. I don't have a brand name magnet on the back of my phone and worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the angle of the phone is aimed upward, so it won't work in my particular car. I recommend you take that into consideration. Great stick. Great magnetism. Small.
