I was told by a LVN to get my elderly mother a "gel pad". She sits most of the day and the LVN said it would help my mother with coccyx soreness and may help to prevent sores (not guaranteed but thought we would try). Before this pad my mom was extremely uncomfortable. She was constantly shifting trying to find a comfortable sitting position. She is normally skeptical about trying new things but the instant she sat on this pad she felt complete and total relief. After reading reviews on nearly every type of gel pad I settled on this one thinking that I could return it if she didn't like it. WOW!! Over and over again she told me how much she loved this pad and how much it has relieved her pain. No more constant shifting trying to find a comfortable way to sit without pain. Let me start by saying it is very comfortable. Well worth the price. It is like no other seat cushion. It doesn’t become hard to sit on. Good support, size is good for larger individuals and gives no pain to sit on it.
