The chair is very cute but not very sturdy. If you lean a certain way you can feel like the wood siding inside can move. It’s just not very comfy. I dont think it was constructed well. We ended up keeping it because we didn’t want to have to deal with sending it back. Update: I’ve talked with customer service who reached out and we have come to a solution that works. Their customer service is great. Added a star for that. They said they are reaching out to their manufacturer to let them know of any issues. All in all the chair works as a normal sitting chair, we stuck it in a corner for a reading chair.

I thought this would be worth a shot based on reviews I read at the time of purchase. But unsurprisingly, you get what you pay for. The parts were just thrown loosely in the box, not in any sort of packaging, so I had to rummage through the box to find all the washers and bolts, and came up short on a single washer which does turn out to matter for *proper* assembly -- but not having it did not prevent me from setting it up to try it out. The massage feature is kind of worthless but it wasn't my main selling point. That said, the remote they show in the product information is not the remote that came with the chair. Specifically, it is missing the "timer" function, and the +/- buttons do not appear to do anything on this chair. The biggest drawback was that I just presumed (my fault) that a chair designed for smaller spaces would recline in a relatively small space. That is, I expected the back-bottom of the chair to "pivot" forward more so that it could be kept closer to a wall and still recline. Unfortunately, this has to be kept too far from the wall to be useful in my home office space. If you are putting the chair in a more open space with no walls directly behind the chair, then it may work okay for you. To make matters worse, sitting upright is pretty uncomfortable when not in any reclined position. I'm on the shorter and smaller build with a 5'4" height ... but according to other reviews, this is not a good chair for tall people either. So if you are on the shorter or taller side, this is probably not a good chair. If you are just the "right size," your mileage may vary. I'll have to see if it is possible to return the chair, or if not, then some luck right size with ample space person will probably inherit it, and I'll go back to find another option.

It is not a super comfy one, so it should remain nice looking for longer! What I didn't realize about the measurements is that the seat is higher than most recliners, so the head has no real headrest for anyone 5'7" or higher. But the higher seat makes it easier for over weight people to get up, so likely to keep the chair and work out the head rest part!

Yes, this is easy to put together. Massage is a joke. Just variations of vibration in one area. Heat is ok. My problem is that I bought it for my 6’4” husband and his feet dangle way off the bottom of the chair when it is reclined. Also, the back of the chair doesn’t come up high enough to support his head. The icing on the cake is that it does not stay fully reclined. It keeps coming back into the middle reclined position. Even my husband who is 185lb can’t keep it in the fully reclined position. **the above is my original review. I had given in one star because I was very displeased with my attempt to return the chair because my husband just can’t use it. Since then the company has responded to my complaint with an agreeable solution so I gave them more stars for their customer service. I appreciate their efforts and communication!

After reading several dozen reviews and browsing a number of furniture stores, it seemed to me that this chair was the most likely to fit my requirements at a price I could afford. However, I was nervous about purchasing furniture on line. The reviews for this chair sounded the best of any for similar items, so I decided to take the chance. It only took ten minutes to put together (you have to screw on the legs, but the arms and back simply slide onto mated hardware and snap securely into position). It is very well-built and sturdy, and the upholstery seems like it will be durable. It is a little stiff to recline, but I suspect that will loosen up with use. I didn't really need the massage/heat functions, so that's a bonus. All in all, I am VERY happy with this chair and kinda wish I needed another one.
