For the low price I was expecting something maybe a step above those As Seen On TV style swamp coolers that just blow air across a water-soaked felt insert. I was wrong. First, the size of the unit is larger than I was expecting. This is a full featured Air Conditioner and fan unit with thermostat, time and temperature programming. The unit I chose is rated to 300 square feet or si, and it had no difficulty cooling my 150 square foot home office which runs seven computer monitors and six computers all day during a 90 degree summer. Noise level is tolerable, I measured 60dB whixh is about the level of a normal conversation. I do switch it off during meetings. If you're used to sleeping with a fan, sleeping with this shouldn't be an issue, especially if you have to choose having AC over hot and quiet. Installation was easy and while other reviews noted the plastic vent attachment for the window seems brittle, it should hold up if you're careful.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS "COMPANY". The windows AC I ordered arrived in a box that was soaking wet, even though it wasn't raining when it was delivered. The packaging fell apart when I removed the AC. The item itself didn't work, was missing pieces, and didn't fit in the size of window the description stated that it would. I have tried resolving the issue with the seller, with no success. I have explained that I have no way to package and return the item. They said I should go and purchase shipping supplies, but that if it arrived damaged, they wouldn't issue a refund. When I pointed out that they could say that the damage that occurred when the item was shipped to me occurred when I shipped it back, they said they hadn't meant that they wouldn't issue a refund. I told them that I shouldn't have to purchase shipping supplies, which will not be cheap considering the size and weight of the item, they said that that was my only option. I told them they needed to arrange to have it packaged and shipped because, 1) I shouldn't have to purchase shipping supplies for an item they didn't bother to package properly, and 2) I can't transport the item because I have a broken ankle, I was given conflicting responses. I was told that FedEx doesn't offer home packing services, and that that would not be something the company could arrange. And then in the next sentence, they said that this is something that FedEx does, and to save the receipt and they will reimburse me. Why should I believe that when I keep getting lied to and told to do things that I shouldn't have to do, all because they can't properly package an item, or produce an item that isn't defective, missing parts, or has an accurate description? The answer is, I shouldn't have to. And when I tried to get Amazon involved, they were useless. They refused to file a claim against the seller because I responded to the seller. They said I needed to wait 48 hours to file a claim. So I did that, and then no one responded to my chat when I tried to file the claim. Furthermore, this item said it was a Prime item when I purchased it. It didn't say it was from a third party seller, otherwise I never would have purchased it because of previous negative experiences with third party sellers on Amazon.

Have been running this AC for a couple of days and it is cooling better than expected. We are having a90+ heat wave right now with very high humidity. I have this on my first floor and it is keeping up with keeping my kitchen and living room cool. 2 negatives that are not a huge deal for me but might be for some: The plastic flex hose that connects to the unit to vent out the hot air was a pain to get and stay connected. I ended up using duct tape to keep it mounted. Also, if you are using the dehumidifier feature and are using the holding tank, it is very small and fills quickly. The unit shuts off once it is full, so on very humid days, you will be dumping out the holding tray a lot.

This Coolblus air conditioner works great! I purchased it to locate it just inside my small bathroom door; cool my master bedroom; and exhaust the warm air out the bathroom window. During the installation, I messed up and cut both pieces of the Window Panel Assembly too short based on a bad window measurement I took. Customer Service is going to send me a FREE replacement part even though it was my fault for not fit-checking the Window Panel Assembly in the window. The Coolblus air conditioner: – Cools great and fast – Easy to use control buttons – Compact size does not take up much space – Has great, responsive Customer Service Dept.

Arizona Garage test late spring, Out of the box or after waiting 2 hrs for freon to settle. Blasting cold air as soon as it turned on. Was an easy set up who needs instructions just hook up exhaust and condesation hose and just sit in front and go ahhhhhhh that was easy! Oh and noticing the unit is very quiet just hearing the strong air flow blowing. OK I wanted a way to work in garage and on car during the summer. Today springtime is 100 degree test before insulation it does cool half my garage with help of a fan. After insulating garage door 80 degrees entire garage. My home AC is great but getting old so back up AC could be a life saver in Arizona summer plus it turned my garage extra space into a chill mancave and now my wife she sheded the patio with my swampcooler and it helps the plants grow that keeps patio shaded and cooler. I did not think I needed a coolbus, a chill mancave, a chill patio, peace of mind when AC finally goes out but it is nice to know I have this awesome life upgrade now.

The unit itself works fine. It is compact and cools the bedroom just fine. However, the exhaust hose is low quality and does not stay attached to the back of the unit. This makes setup difficult and frustrating as the unit can't be moved once you carefully attach the hose to the back. And, I refuse to use duct tape to keep the hose attached on a brand new unit. The accordion hose is supposed to twist in to the bracket on the back of the unit. However, that bracket is not deep enough to get a solid attachment. Every time someone rolls the AC unit a little bit, the hose detaches from the unit. The bracket on the window side of the hose is deeper and allows for a more secure connection. I should have gone with another Black & Decker unit, but I was trying to save a little money. I would not recommend this product.

We live in a 2story house which gets rather warm upstairs in the summer. We have central air , but it doesn't help upstairs. We bought two of these hot put in bedrooms . They are great. I wish we would have done it sooner. Does a great job cooling our bedrooms
