I used this on my broken/ loose gate as we moved in and the Maintenance men didnt do jack ish! They just painted over the bolt but this add on grabbed it quick and i was done in 1 minute. To adjust and tighten 2 bolts. I feel like this will come in handy and would buy again. Hopefully it lasts though. Thats my only concern ... show more

There's a center plunger (the black piece) that only recedes a 1/4" and grossly limits to what you can drive with the socket. After drilling a 1/8" hole with a chamfer into the adapter puece, the plunger from the socket now fully recedes and allows 1/2" of depth now. It's probably to keep the steel dowels in place, but I don't really see this lasting more than a few days with moderate use. You get what you pay for I guess. ... show more

I was desperate to get anti theft lugs off my boat trailer tires. I had a flat on the side of a major highway and unfortunately lost my anti theft socket while changing the tire. When I got home I wanted to take the tire that blew out to get a new tire unfortunately that's when I realized I must have lost it after I changed tire and mounted blown tire to trailer. Well I tried everything to get those lugs off and researched replacement socket but gator lugs has 1000 socket combinations. Then I stumbled on this socket on Amazon and ordered it what surprise this socket worked flawlessly created the exact shape of the keyed lug. While the complete shaft is 2 inches, the pins only go as deep as 1/2 an inch! The depth is nowhere near what I needed to reach the nut that I was trying to remove. Returned for a refund.
