I have a dual fuel stove but it's been so hot and humid, I don't want to use it. It heats the house up. So I ordered these so I can cook dinner and they don't heat heat up the house. They get hot, practically instantly. Seems like I can boil water at the snap of my fingers. Food cooks fast. Burners cool down really quickly. Cooktop is a snap to clean, a little 409 and a quick swipe with some papertowel and it's done. At first I thought I'd maybe over done it when I got the 3 pack, but now that I've gotten used to using them, I can't imagine not having them around. Yes, I recommend this product. And compared to buying an induction stove, they are super economical.

Seriously. This thing is the best, and I'm demanding on kitchen equipment. I'm in love. Just bought it and had to test it out. This is a tfal pot. It has a steel bottom so induction friendly. I put it on, hit boost, got in the fridge to get out my left over thai food I made to warm it up, opened container, dumped in, and sizzles as it hit the bottom. Are you serious?! And it boiled immediately. Took it down to 400, and it was like a 4 on my Jenn-Air kitchen induction cook top. 200 had no boiling bubbles so good for just warming stuff. It's nice looking and seems well made including a sturdy cord and plug. I researched various models within the $100-200 range and this one is as good as people say. I picked well!! Large bright numbers too, so good for outside cooking as well. That's our plan for it.

I am in the middle of building a house and living basically in a tiny house right now. I got really tired of only being able to make microwaved or toaster oven food, but I did not like the idea of a hot plate that might inadvertently be left on. This one will only have heat to the burner if there is an induction pan on it so no worry that this old lady will burn down her temporary housing! It heats up super fast and is really easy to clean. I don't have any issues with the temperature readout and the settings, I can find a good temperature so far to cook everything I need. I really like it and I think it was well worth the price. Excellent value!

This Double Induction Cooktop Burner has been a solid addition to my professional kitchen, with its fast warm-up mode, 10 temperature settings, and 9 power levels. It’s versatile, and the child safety lock and timer functions are thoughtful features that add extra convenience—not just for child safety but for busy environments where things can easily be bumped during a hectic dinner service. However, there are a couple of issues worth noting. Occasionally, I’ve had electrical wiring problems requiring rewiring; I’ve purchased six of these units and had to rewire three. To be fair, my units are used frequently and intensively. Additionally, the 1800w power must be balanced between the two burners, so you can’t use the full 1800w on both sides simultaneously. This limitation can be challenging if you need both burners at high power levels at the same time, which may be important for professional chefs more accustomed to cooking with gas or open flames. For example, if you’re boiling water on one burner and continuing to utilize the other for something else, be prepared for it to take some time. Overall, four stars for performance, though it’s likely best suited for low to moderate volume use versus professional kitchen environments, and in which case, it may have the capacity to earn itself a fifth star.

We are in the middle of a remodel and I have a temporary kitchen setup in our in-law apartment. Due to local zoning, a house with 2 kitchens requires a commercial loan so this in-law apartment only has kitchen appliances (microwave and toaster oven). I had been using (2) 1-burner electric burners (one coil and one solid) since August and I finally reached my limit when one night it took over an hour to boil water (I did not have the lid on and all that happened is my water simmered and evaporated). I figured I'd try convection and knew I would need a 2-burner. I did not want to invest too much in this as our kitchen is expected to be complete in the next couple of months when I can have my gas stove back and I was not interested in replacing all of my cookware. I have cast iron, enameled cast iron le creuset, anondized, and de Buyer iron pans - all of many sizes but I also have a lot of stainless steel/ that wouldn't work. I did buy one all-clad pot since all of my stock pots are stainless, I did not have a decent size pot that would work. I'll be honest, I had a return scheduled when between ordering and delivery I read that pan size was something to pay attention to. The burner is an 8" and many of my pans are 10"+ and my le creuset dutch oven is 26. I started researching the induction transfer mats and read it's a waste of energy transfer. So I scheduled a return. After it arrived, I knew my pans would work b/c of the magnet test so I gave it a go. All my compatible pans and my le creuset worked! As it turns out, though the burner is 8" you can have a pot/pan a bit larger than the circumference! I cancelled the return! Key points on keeping this appliance: - I can use in the kitchenette or in my remodeled kitchen when I need extra cooking (e.g. Thanksgiving/X-mas). I am going back to my gas range as it's a work-horse and I prefer the ability to finely control my flame - easy clean up - literally boils water in like 3 mins - use 800 to 1000 and boost it. This is fantastic for fast cooking especially for packing lunches (like mac/cheese) where time in the morning is a premium - pans heat up fast for searing - relatively safe - the induction top, due to magnetism, does not heat like a normal stove so potential for burning hands is lessened Cons: - there is a learning curve with the settings. this brand says there are 9 Power Levels and 10 Temperature levels. The instructions are terrible and I have yet to find the farenheit equivalent temperature settings - all I have are wattages. See previous comment about going back to gas. - EMF - literature/research/warnings out there for cardiac patients

Size: Double Induction Cooktop with Touch Control
Update: I've been using this for the last two weeks and despite amazon delivery leaving it out in the rain it has been working without problems and I have been using it at least once every day. I'm new to induction cooking so some things has been trial and error. Heats up induction cookware quickly which reminds me of cooking on gas which I haven't done in about 10 or 15 years. Unlike electric burners that retain heat for a while when turning down or off the induction changes immediately, no need to slide the pan off the burner. I like that it can be set to power levels or set by temperature. I don't think there is an actual sensor to measure the temp but sets itself to a specific power level and it depends on how well your cookware responds to induction that will determine the actual temp of the cookware. A long time ago I had a gas stove that had a burner that had an actual temp sensor and would reduce or increase the flame as needed, the only problem with that is the pilot light would always be on under the pan and create a hot spot that would burn the food at that spot. This induction cooker will cycle on and off to maintain a set temp but without having a pilot light there is no hot spot that burns the food. The only thing I wish was different is the size of the induction coil. Description says for pans between 4 and 10 inches but it seems that the induction coil is less then 10 inches. When I have a pan on it the area that boils is a circle between the center and outside of the 10 inch pan leaving about an inch of space between the boiling and edge of the pan as well as an area in the center that doesn't boil. Induction coils are shaped like a donut so it makes sense not to boil at the center I just wish the coil covered to the edge of the pan. If you use a decent quality triply induction pan then the coil not being as big as the pan isn't that much of a problem as a decent triply would spread out the heat to the entire pan... Just need to take some time to pre-heat the pan at a lower power setting before starting to cook. ______________________________________ Despite being left out in the rain in my driveway by amazon instead putting it on my covered porch it seems to be working ok. Not sure how much water damage may have occurred internally I dried off the outside and let it sit in front of a fan for a day then tried powering it on. Seems to work. I do like being able to have two pans cooking at the same time, frying some ham and potato patties on one side and an cheese omelet on the other... nice to have both done at same time instead of having one get cold with a single element induction cooker.

It works but anyone who does a lot of cooking this is not for you. There is no power button so when being cleaned it will turn on when on switch is pressed, to avoid this unplug it before cleaning. The temperature only adjusts by 36F per step. I missed the return date. Since it can only be adjusted by 36F steps I cannot recommend this cooktop.

great product wish I could have used it. I travel for construction work for 4-6 months. This time we didn't have a kitchen where we staying. I bought this so I would have something to cook on. None of my pots and pans didn't work on it. Disappointed that is very limited to what pots can go on.
