The media could not be loaded. This is the complete package. Everything you need to setup and install Cooau cameras is included down to the mounting screws and ethernet cable. I intended to create an installation video, but these cameras are impressively easy to set up. Just follow the instructions included and watch the videos on this product page You may find the hardest part of the whole process is deciding where to mount the cameras. Things I like: Clear wide angle color video. Clear nighttime video. No monthly fee, motion events are stored on the included memory card within the home base. Easily accessed via the ARCCTV app. When motion is detected Push notifications are sent to your phone. I have the app installed on my phone, my wife’s and tablet. At motion detection bright LED’s illuminate the area. Programmable outdoor camera sirens and or indoor alarms. (The bright LED’s and siren are enough to scare anyone away.) Two-way audio. No batteries to change out, solar panel keeps batteries charged. Ability to view video live on demand, pan and tilt camera 360 degrees. The cameras and home base are extremely well built, a solid piece of equipment. No power or video wires to pull across attic, no large holes to drill through walls. (A plus if you are renting or live in an apartment and need the extra security.) Originally, I was concerned about the range limitation between the home base and farthest camera. Home base being at one end of the house and the camera on the other end 60 feet away. No noticeable degrade in video. I preferred to mount one of camera under the porch roof which did not allow me to mount the solar panels in direct sunlight. No problem again. In my case the ambient sunlight is enough to keep the batteries charged. One camera I set up inside my garage to cover the garage door and rear entrance to the house. No need for a solar panel here, I plugged the cameras into the 5-volt charger with a standard USB type C connection, the same as a cell phone may use. The Cooau cameras are not lacking any features, and are great investment in itself, but I must also mention the impressive ARCCTV app. This app is extremely well designed and easily navigated. Here are some of the things you can with the app. Have camera and base station alarm in sync. Set alarm volume. Set up password Set Time. (Don’t forget to do that with the new cameras. Set up Alexa Download local video files. Format the memory card Upload the memory card video. Set motion sensitivity. Set Motion detection period. Siren setting White light alarm. And of course, pan and tilt camera, I would buy these security cameras again. ... show more

For the most part, it is a pretty good camera system. But it is not top-notch. It is responsive to send notifications - if it detects something. Many times it catches movement immediately - other times it doesn't see the motion at all, or stops the recording too quickly, if the subject pauses for a moment or two - and then does not pick up when it starts moving again. But for my needs, it is better than the options that I was looking at. I use it as a 'trail cam' to see the critters on my deck and back yard and bought this primarily because most trail cams do not record for much more than 30 seconds and their lag time usually misses most things. If the conditions are perfect, it will easily take extended videos - which is great! The daytime image quality is excellent. This system performs very well in night vision but only because I also have a motion sensing light - so when a critter walks by the light turns on - thus providing a perfect video for the camera to take. Here is an image that only used night vision because the light could not detect motion that far. As you the tell, the image is good, but not great. I specifically bought this system because the cloud service was not required - but that doesn't stop it from harassing you constantly to use the cloud. The videos are stored in the base-station provided, which was better than on a card. However, if I used this as a true security camera the intruder would probably be in your house, took what they wanted and were halfway out of town if you were hoping to see the image on your phone. The camera only pans if you are in a certain screen - which sometimes takes a while to get to - and you have to manually pan the camera. So, again, if you are in a hurry - this won't be of much use. Battery life is very good, especially if your solar panel is in the ideal location. There, it can last for months. If it runs out of a charge, it just takes a few hours to charge it in the house with a usb charger. I really like the solar feature - it is excellent. Set up is hit or miss. Sometimes the setup is a piece of cake, then you try setting up another camera and it is frustratingly difficult. Again, for my needs as a trail cam it works good - not great - but not bad. However, I have considered getting another set to actually use as a security camera, due to the quick notification response. That is all I would use it for in order to know when someone is coming down the driveway, if my dogs don't let me know first. ... show more

    • Nice Cameras, but won’t record anything!!!

Installed cameras and setup wasn’t too bad did take a lot longer than the other cameras I’ve had Arlo, Blink, and Ring. Contacted customer support with issue of it not detecting the SD Card in hub. So they sent me a New Hub and still same thing. NOT RECORDING! That’s the whole reason I got them. Not paying for there “cloud storage” which it tries to sell you every time in the app. Customer support said cameras don’t need a SD Card it’s just the hub but it’s been a month next week and still no luck with recording my property. All I can do is a live view! Kinda useless in my opinion! Going to be return and sticking with the better NAME brand equipment! Just a heads up of everything I’ve been through!! Very disappointing 😕 ... show more
