The media could not be loaded. My 2 year old loves this tablet!! It is very compact and affordable for the quality of it! Easy to navigate! There is no lag on the video or apps being used! The touch sensors are very sensitive so you don't have a 2 year old trying to break the screen while pushing the back buttons! Haha It can be used for both adults and kids! It also has its own system operation for the kids side of it! You can add the parent approved apps and videos and know your kid isn't watching things they shouldn't!! I will be honest.. this is my second one because the first one had a battery issue but I was able to get in contact with customer service and have another one sent out! This one is working fine and battery life is good enough! I definitely recommend it!

I had it exactally 1 month and it was trash. You get what you pay for. I liked how it has a separate area called the kids center (you can have it free or you can pay for premium) and you can use family link to control when and for how long your child is on. But let me save you some time. You can download kids center on any tablet and it will do the same thing. You also have to be careful with your child dropping it because the cover isn't meant to be drop proof. When she dropped it, the side came apart alittle but it snapped right back into place and still worked like it never happened. The thing is sometimes when it is in sleep mode and you try to turn it back on, it is just a black screen. I have to hold the power button down until it shuts off and turn it back on. It was kind of annoying and that is when I should have sent it back. It constantly kicks out of programs. I updated it and it still did the same thing. And it is just really slow. My last straw with this tablet was when I turned it on and it got stuck on the contrix logo. It has been stuck on there for 30 min now. I'm going to return this trash.

I’ve been wanting a basic tablet for my 3 year old son so when I saw this one was geared towards kids I decided to get it. The tablet itself is the perfect size to fit in his hands and the case does a great job at protecting the tablet when it gets dropped. (Because we all know 3 year olds drop things) The tablet comes preinstalled with 20 different games that work for many different age groups. The Looney Tunes Phonics game is one of them and it’s excellent at teaching letters and the sounds they make. My son is around the age of learning letters and sounds so we’ve used this a few times and will continue to. A few apps he personally likes to play are ABC world, Game kids 5 and body parts for kids. (All are preinstalled on the tablet). Another great thing about this tablet is the parental controls. I honestly had to unblock a few things when I first got the tablet because so many things were blocked. The “kids corner” app is where all of the apps you want your child to use can be put into. This app is password protected so you can’t get out of it unless you use a password, so no worrying about your child getting into other things on the tablet that you don’t want them to use. You can also set a timer for how long you want your child to be on the tablet. The operating system is ok, it runs on Android 8, it’s not the fastest thing in the world so it takes patience for some of the things to load and the touch screen can be finicky at times but he’s able to play games ok. I’m not sure if I got a bad one or not but the charging cord and port are loose so I’m not sure how long the charger is going to last. The tablet can also get a little warm at times but all and all it’s a nice basic tablet. Updated 11/1/19: I have revised my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service I received about the loose charger (which actually did end up breaking after my initial review) . I emailed Contixo and told them what happened with my charger and they sent out a new one to me free of charge!

Bought two of these for my twin grandchildren. The battery life is long enough for the time they are allowed to use them, but the games that come with the product are for very young children. My grandchildren had never had any kind of iPad, etc. so they are happy with it, even though they are five years old. I see kids two years old carrying around this kind of product and for children like that, these would probably not be adequate. My other concern is there are no instructions for the games. You just have to learn how to do them by trial and error. Doesn’t seem to bother my grandkids, but drives me crazy. Also, I wanted stories that were read aloud to help them start to recognize words. The problem with the stories on this device is that the reading is very stilted, the stories are way too young, and when the story is read, the entire sentence or paragraph is highlighted, not highlighted word by word - for someone who doesn’t read yet that is a little confusing. One other note, the piece on the charger that you insert in the device to charge has a very weak end. My granddaughter’s is already bent, but it is still charging. Just be careful with the end of the charger. They do connect to the Internet however, and I plan on downloading them more advanced games and stories as they get older. All in all, for the price, I am OK with these devices. Haven’t had them long enough to know if they will hold up over time, but as long as they do, and I can connect to the Internet to get them more advanced games and stories, they are worth the money I paid.
