I've been looking for a good drone that wasn't going to deplete my savings account. This Contixo F23 was the one for me! The very first thing that caught my eye was the built-in 4.5" screen on the remote. I didn't want to deal with having to worry about having my phone fully charged, and also the drone... this allows me to just focus on learning how to fly without the hassle. Plus the screen is really bright, so I dont have to struggle with finding a shaded area or none of that. The live feed is clear and connects instantly, making the setup process much faster than other drones I’ve used. The GPS and optical flow stabilization make this drone incredibly steady in the air. Even as a beginner, I felt confident using the One-Key Takeoff and the Auto-Return Home feature, which works perfectly if the battery gets low. It comes with 2 batteries, which gives me about 40-45 minutes of fly time. Its perfect as want to disconnect and just get some fresh air. I also really appreciated the 16GB memory card it came with, the kit was designed to fly within minutes of arrival which is great. Unstable to take videos and the resolution is really bad. Also, battery don’t last as long as advertised and take long to charge. It is good for beginners but I think it is priced too high for beginners. This is as good as the ones sold less thank $100.

The Contixo GPS drone is a fantastic product and provides fun for all ages. Right out of the box, you can see that it is a quality product. It comes in a really beautiful carrying case to protect it and keep it safe when not in use. The main console has a lot of features yet it's easy to use after the first time. It comes with extra pieces including a bunch of extra blades and an extra battery. If you used both batteries, it would give you over an hour an hour and a half of use using all the fun features and its GPS. The drone flew 3 times total. The drone worked fine the first two flights. The second flight was in town and had slight winds. The gps worked great. The third and final flight was in open country outside of twin falls Idaho. No wind whatsoever. The drone took off, flew for about 2 minutes. I pushed the return home button. The drone went up, flew backwards and flew out of sight never to return. We spent over 4 hours trying to find the drone doing grid searches over several acres and never found it. Use with controller is good, can freeze up at times but overall really fun drone to fly and takes decent photos and videos. I have had zero luck flying with the app, drone almost met Jesus a few times.

I bought this primarily to view my 40 acres from above. For the price point it has a lot of features. The only negative I’ve experienced is the lag time to see the screen during flight. I’m still learning how to use all the features but I think it will be great for my purposes.

Great beginner drone! It was easy to set up, the GPS features work well, and the return-to-home function gave me extra confidence while flying. The built-in screen on the controller is a huge plus since I didn’t have to use my phone. Battery life was solid, and the extra battery made it easy to keep flying.
