Some of the instructions are difficult to follow and setting your preferences are a little challenging, but it can be done with trial and error. Really good for beginners. I'd learned sewing basics when I was younger and decided to pick it up again for alteration and small projects. It was super easy to figure out and use. It doesn't do great on thicker fabric but overall does well.

It's not a bitch machine. It's like a manly man who wears a pink shirt. It was sew easy to figure out, and it's so quiet my husband says, "Is it broke, i don't hear anything". All i can say is wow. All the girls down at the sewing club are jealous.

I have not used this sewing machine, nor will I. It arrived in obviously used condition. The spool holder is bent down & has black on it from spools previously used on it. It is also dirty in places with black dust. It came in a box not properly supported by styrofoam. There was one piece on top but nothing on the bottom. The foot pedal, cord, and another piece were just thrown in on the bottom, and there were no more pieces, including the feet that were supposed to be included! There was a previous address sticker cut off the box, and another stuck on under mine. (I am evidently the third person to receive this machine with no attempt to refurbish it or make sure all promised pieces are included. It’s going back on Monday!!! ... show more
