This is a decent entry- to mid-level desk chair. It is in the style of a racing seat as seems to be the current fad. Being the first chair of this style, I have owned, I am very surprised with how comfortable it is. It came in a large box, as flat packed as the seat cushions allow. If you walk into a Staples or Office Depot and see the chair boxes they have, you can get an idea of the size of this one. All the parts were nicely arranged and the cushions themselves covered in a thick plastic to prevent them from getting ripped or damaged from the harder components in the box. Assembly is easy*. The instructions are in pictogram format, but it is very easy to understand. 1. Screw the legs to the post. 2. Snap the casters into the legs. 3. Put the piston in the post hole. 4. Screw the base to the base cushion. 5. Screw the arms to the base cushion. 6. Place the back between the arms and screw it in. The * I put in was because getting the back screwed in is a real pain. I could easily get one side screwed in, but I had a very hard time lining up the last hole on the second side. I ended up loosening the other 3 screws, placing the chair on its side, pressing incredibly hard down onto the arm near the hole I had issues with and screwing in the screw until it finally found the hole and went home. Much harder than it should have been. After getting it assembled, I am very impressed with the comfort and height adjustment. I have the back locked as I don't like the way the chair feels when it reclines. However, the locked back puts my back in a good posture that I prefer. The base and back are well cushioned, but I have not had the chair long enough to comment on how well it holds up. The arms have an okay amount of cushion on them, I expected them to be plain molded plastic, so this is a nice feature. Overall, this is a good chair. I think it will last me quite a while. My cats will likely end up destroying all the PU leather on it before the cushions or mechanism wear out.

This chair certainly looks great and is reasonably comfortable. It's fairly firm, but that means the foam is likely to withstand a reasonable amount of use without flattening to the point where there is no padding. The upper part of the chair seems nicely made but cost savings have been made in the base. With most chairs in this price range the spider that forms the base is a single piece either made out of cast aluminum or of some sort of rigid resin material. This base is fabricated from steel and comes in 6 parts that bolt together. A central hub part and 5 legs that slide on and bolt together. I just feel over time this may become a source of creaks and I feel sure that if like me your feet end up on the legs of the chair in use that the paint will wear off and make it look scruffy. I hope I'm wrong, since the parts certainly fit together nicely. The assembly is very standard other than the extra bolts required to assemble the spider. If you have every assembled this type of chair there you shouldn't have any issues. The hardest part is attaching the back to the arms and I find it's best done with the seat on it's side. The hydraulic post works well with a nice range of height that should suit most people. You can lock the chair or pull out the lever to let it rock like other office chairs. I feel this chair will do well for light use, but as with other chairs in this price range don't expect it to last for more than a year or so if you are using it for hours on end each day.

But we were able to assemble fairly easy. The height adjust easily and it tips backward to a point thats seems secure from tipping over. It’s pretty comfortable and definitely an improvement over my old desk chair.it rolls easily and provides decent lumbar support.

At first I was concerned that I was not the right size (too tall) but found if you slouch into optimal gaming position the chair is designed to cradle you and hold you in it from slipping onto the floor. So often when we game we have to keep our feet on the floor to support us…not with this bad boy. I prop them up on the desk and flip the latch to full recline. The armrests are padded, as is the headrest. It was easy to put together and has a high clearance so I can go from carpet to hardwood easily. It is also made of metal so my over six foot self can use it too. My guy is slightly jealous…
