I’ll answer my own question- 1) I used 1 5/8” drywall screws to fasten both subs to this box, great seal. I’ve used this method of fasteners for years and never have they broke loose or fallen out. Paired this with 2 JL Audio 10w0v3-4 and they sound great. I did have 1 of those subs running for the past two years but it was sitting in the leg location in the rear of a 2015 Chevy Silverado and it was time to take back that leg space. This box fit the purpose, runs flush with the contours of the rear seat in the back of a crew cab Silverado. I’ve always built my own boxes but was lazy this time, planned on replacing this with self made when the weather cools down but happy to report I will not have to. Works great!     • No room for Subs to move
The box seems well built enough, but there is not enough from between the subs and the floor. Currently there is only 1/4" between my subs at rest and the floor. When the subs start moving they smack the floor, popping and messing up the voice coil. 2022 Chevy 1500, running some shallow Skar subs.

Box fits great and is barely noticeable. Better quality than others I have purchased before. Most important thing when buying subs is to buy one's that are rated for your box size and purchase subs that are close to that volume requirement. My subs require .65 cf so in combination with this box (.74 each I believe) I have perfect low bass which is what I was looking for. Most negative reviews about these compact sub boxes are improperly matched equipment. When planning a system for a tight space start with the box and work your way back to the wiring. I.E. Box, properly matched subs, properly matched/powered amp, properly gauged wire, etc. ... show more

Very tight box. Built good, but too close to floor. Had to raise it off floor 1 inch to let subs have the needed air space. Was rattling off floor.
