This gate is perfect if you have a dog and a cat.s like my daughter. It was easy to assemble and fit her kitchen doorway so nicely. She has a pitwieller doggy thats like boxer height. And it is so sturdy, her dog can't knock it out. The latch works well and is easy to open and close. The thing she loves most is the cat door at bottom. Her cats took right to it and went thru so they can go everywhere they want!..including the doggy room which use to be there's;) You can position the cat door to the ht. you want and it stays put at that level. It is def. tall enough for all dog sizes. We were so glad my daughter went w/this gate instead of a cage/crate option for her doggy, her being pretty big and came from the shelter so really didnt want her stuck in a cage like before, when her mommys at work. Its also handy to put your pets behind gate when ya wanna eat in peace...the white is very pretty in her kitchen and looks nice. The dog can't push the cat door up w/its nose either, it's sturdy too. It's just a really good product.

The media could not be loaded. Ok so when buying on Amazon I always go to reviews. I’m not sure why is there is anything less than five stars. This gate is amazing it fits just about in any doorway or hallway. It’s perfect to separate our cats and the cat door is sturdy as well and the whole gate. Easy easy assembly and can can be moved at anytime. Opening and closing the gate is easy. The floor piece helps set it in place and keeps it standing up straight.

FANTASTIC sturdy and well-made gate. Very easy to set up. Five minutes max. No damage to the walls. I bought it to integrate new cats with the old cats (until Im sure they don't kill each other). I love it in white. I searched everywhere for a height that was too tall so my old cats can't jump over, but doesn't feel like a prison in my home. Assemblies exactly like the photo. Great lock on the door so the babies can't slip out. Highly recommend.

This pet gate is solid. I have purchased two of these at different occasions in the past month. Both of them arrived when they said they would. They were shipped with UPS. I have had no issues with product quality. It is sturdy, easy to install, not easily pushed, reasonably priced, and my cats can't jump over it. (I am currently introducing a new kitten.) Not that it is without it's flaws. My first complaint is that there is no wiggle room in between setups. For example, the width of my hall is 35 inches. The setup that I need stops at 35 inches and the next one starts at 35 inches. Therefore, the one setup is way too tight and I can't fit it into the space, and the other setup is way too loose and I have to use something in between the wall and the brace in order to make it fit. I actually had this problem in both places where I needed the gates. Both have different measurements. Also, if you are wanting to use this for a kitten or puppy there is one opening (right at the gate swing) where they could get their head stuck. I ended up bending a piece of cardboard and taping it on either side so my kitten couldn't put her head through it. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchases and if I ever need more pet gates, I will buy another one of these.

Well....I got it installed and it seems to be solid, working, and functional. No...it is not so easy to install. I am a senior in my late sixties. It is heavy. I should have probably waited for my partner, but wanted to see if I could do it myself. Fortunately he taught me a little bit about 🔧 wrenches , because I needed one to tighten the bolts well. The kit does come with a little flat tool for one type of the screw bolts but not the other. Both are crucial to anchor the gate for pressure mounting. That being said, it is a well made gate. I fostered some kittens and adopted three. I wanted a gate they could not get over and my cats (who want to eat their kitten food!!!) couldn't climb. I had taller cheaper gates but got tired of taking them down every time I wanted to go into the bedroom where they like to stay. The door for this gate works very well. The latch is secure. Generally I am please with the quality. I kept the instructions and tools handy to periodically check and tighten if needed. I think two people are better to install because it is heavy. But I did it myself by following directions and loosely doing the pressure bolts to line up before the final tightening of everything. It took several hours. My partner checked and it is solidly mounted. Oh, the space between the slats is small enough so cats and older kittens could not get their heads in between. I would worry about very small kittens. So be sure to check. I mention because I know people who foster and need & purchase gates to separate animals.

I've bought and returned so many similar products as the gates were unsteady and didn't fulfill our expectations. This one is honestly perfect, easy to assemble, very sturdy, and very functional. We needed it to keep my two kitties separated, as they don't get along, and we installed it in my son's bedroom. It works perfectly.

The product is exactly as advertised! I’ve had it a few weeks so I feel like I can give it a honest review. This gate is sturdy! I was concerned that due to the size it might be wobbly but that isn’t an issue. I love the cat door at the bottom and especially love that it is adjustable. The pressure mounting is working well for our needs, it does need occasional adjustments. It is easy to open with one hand and it’s super convenient that the gate opens both directions. It works so well to keep our dogs away from the litter box while maintaining access for the cat. It looks nicer than the plastic gates and the length makes it impossible for the dogs to just jump over it. It comes with all necessary hardware.

I was looking for something that would keep the cats out of a certain room and still have the door open. This is the answer to my problem. It is very well made and sturdy. It was very easy to install and you can move it around if you need to. Definitely solved the issue. I would suggest getting this. It is not something that has to be permanently fixed. No holes are needed.
