The box was not damaged, but when the fridge was taken out there was a dent in the center of the door - plugged it in and it seems to work, but there is obvious some quality control measures lacking at the factory for it to ship like this.

Love this little powerhouse. I bought one for my upstairs bedroom when I had surgery, entailing an 8 wk recovery period in which I was not to use stairs. This ensures drinks, snacks, and ice packs were always available. I now keep wine and bottled water in it just because I can. It’s also Inexpensive to run, and so I bought one for my mom’s room in a care facility. This ensures properly cold drinks available to her at all times without necessarily having to wait for her call bell to be answered, plus any food brought from the outside world can be stored here for her. A small thing but a game changer, improved some very basic elements of her QOL, dramatically. Freezer does sometimes get too cold and maybe twice a year needs defrosting. Nbd. The first one I ordered came to me all banged up and dented. They replaced it. Now it has stopped working after 2 months of very gentle use. Unable to find an email to ask the sellers for a replacement or to troubleshoot. Not very impressed with the quality of this product.

This is a very nice compact fridge! The door is reversible, which is handy since we needed to hinge the door from the opposite side. The unit is very quiet, and it cooled very quickly! The energy rating and yearly electric usage of $23 is great, since a lot of other compact units use more power! I highly recommend this compact fridge, however it should be noted that the box is very thin. The box itself was damaged and in very bad shape, however the fridge was still in good shape, except for one small dent. Fortunately it is in an area that will not be seen. If possible, request additional packaging if you plan to purchase one of these units. I am giving this a 5 star rating, since it runs very quietly! ... show more
