I picked up the Comica Vimo Q to handle podcasts, interviews, and some wedding/event work where I need more than just two mics. After a few weeks of use, here’s my take: The Good: • Four transmitters + one receiver in a charging case makes this super portable and organized. • Setup is plug-and-play — I had all four mics live in under a minute. • Works with both cameras and computers/phones thanks to the 3.5mm and USB-C outputs. • Individual track mode is a life saver in post. Being able to separate voices instead of fighting with one mixed track has saved me hours of editing. • Battery life is solid — I get about 8 hours per mic/receiver, and the case extends things through a full day. • Sound quality is very good for the price point. Clean, clear, and perfectly usable for YouTube, podcasts, and wedding toasts. The Trade-Offs: • No onboard recording, so if your camera or laptop glitches, you don’t have backup files. • Like all 2.4 GHz systems, line-of-sight matters. Works great outdoors or in a room, but walls and bodies can block signal if you’re not careful. • No lav mics in the box — the built-in mics sound fine, but I’d recommend picking up lavaliers if you want a more discreet or polished look. Bottom Line: If you need to mic more than two people at once without carrying a full mixer and four separate receivers, this kit is a fantastic solution. It’s not the most “broadcast-grade” system out there, but for creators, podcasters, and event shooters, it hits a really sweet spot between features, portability, and price. Would I buy it again? Yes. Just keep in mind the limitations (no onboard recording, 2.4 GHz quirks), and you’ll be very happy with it.

Comica is great and these are amazing! I previously used the COMICA BoomX-U Qua during the recording of paranormal investigations and obtained great results in the field, especially with EVPs or other sounds heard. While they worked great, I decided to upgrade to the Vimo Q. This new kit is fantastic and is so much more easy and quicker to set up. Each lavalier connects directly once removing from the case and the battery life last about twice as long! This is extremely helpful in a quick setup on investigations. I've connected the receiver through a Zoom H6 and each channel comes out so clear and crisp. The recording quality is great I did not really have to do any post editing for my first test recording. I also found the range to be a lot further and have had, so far, no interference. I will be putting these devices to the test again during an upcoming investigation in an abandoned hospital (check it out soon on YouTube - North by Northwest Paranormal). Our team will also be using these to record in some future podcasts so be sure to check us out on YouTube to get some good examples of the recording abilities of this Lav kit.

If I could have given this product 6 stars, I'd have happily done so. Like wow!! Where do I even start?! 1. This product was clearly made of quality, materials and you can feel how solid and durable they are. 2. The sound quality is definitely better than I expected and definitely regret not buying it sooner. 3. It works great across my different devices. I use it with my phone, computer, laptop, and studio recording setup. 4. The sleek and compact design is exactly what i needed and fits within my camara bag effortlessly. 5. The noise canceling feature truly exceeds my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend this product fir anyone who wants a compact but powerful mic setup for recording.

The media could not be loaded. I got this 4 channel wireless lav mic system mainly to improve the sound quality on the videos I record using my cellphone, but I also like that these mics work with my Gopro's as well, the overall sound quality is pretty good, I wouldn't say the sound quality is a high end professional quality, but these mics definitely improved the sound quality on my cellphone and Gopro videos versus using these devices built-in mics, the sound is clear and crisp and the one click noise canceling features works really well, I had very little if any background noise or white noise in my videos, the only negative is that you can't adjust the noise canceling level, but I do like that you can adjust the volume level on the mics, the receiver for the mics has a built-in LCD display screen, that displays which mics are being used, the mics battery level and sound level and it also has a sound meter bar for each mic, the only issue I have with the display screen is that the mics are labeled A,B,C & D, but the mics themselves are not labeled anywhere so you have to figure out which mic is which, one feature I really like with this mic set is that it comes with a nice carrying case that is also a charging hub for all 4 mics and the receiver, you can also charge the mics and receiver without the case via a USB C charging cable, I also like the battery life and the range on these mics, even after about 4hrs of recording I still a lot of battery life left, as far as the range I only tested it to about 300ft or so and it still sounded like I was standing right next to my cellphone, I did notice that the sound will breakup somewhat with to many obstacles between the mic and the receiver, but the overall sound quality pretty much stayed the same, all in all though I am pretty happy with the overall performance and sound quality of this wireless lav system.

The sound quality they capture is incredibly clear, crisp, and full—perfect for everything from vocals and instruments to podcasts and streaming. You can really hear the difference in detail and depth compared to other mics I’ve used. They feel solid, well-built, and deliver consistent, professional-level results. If you’re serious about sound quality, these are definitely worth the investment!
