Now in Getaria company, Enthusiasm, Openness, Courageous is our faith, and we strive to pass this on our products and share it to the whole world. Getaria Upgrade GWS-8 Guitar Wireless transmitter receiver offers a reliable and affordable way to transmit your guitar (or any other electric musical instrument) signal, enabling you to break free from using cables. Wireless guitar transmitter receiver with an impressive 105dB dynamic range,crystal-clear sampling at 24Bit/48kHz,and a frequency range spanning 20Hz to 20kHz,you can rest assured that the most subtle of nuanceswith regard to your performance are captured and transmitted with the utmost fidelity. 280°1/4" plug design makes it very easy to use, with a transmission distance up to 100ft, afforded the freedom to roam the stage for a truly dynamic performance. And the upgrade of the chip has increased the battery capacity of the GWS-8 by 50%, also has a Y-USB C jack charging cable for convenience! Wireless Guitar Supports 6 sets of devices working at same time, one-to-one and no-interference; and one transmitter can transmit signal to several receivers at the same time also. (1)If noise originates from the product itself, check whether internal components have become loose due to impact or dropping.(2)If noise persists in a fixed environment, it is likely interference from other equipment (e.g., wireless microphones, WiFi, TVs). Replacing the product will not resolve this—turn off nearby signal-emitting devices during use.(3)Guitar modifications (pickup replacement, internal circuit changes) may also cause noise.(4)During initial use, inadequate grounding of the amplifier's power supply can induce noise.(5)Proximity between guitar and amplifier may cause feedback mistaken for noise—maintain adequate distance.(6)Incoming/outgoing phone calls may introduce static; audio short circuits in the instrument or amplifier can also cause noise.(7)Low battery in the wireless transmitter/receiver can lead to noise—ensure sufficient charge.(8)For instruments with active pickups, low internal battery power may cause noise—check and replace if needed.(9)Verify proper speaker grounding and ensure transmitter/receiver batteries are not fully depleted. Strange noise while in use? There is quite strong electromagneticinterference, or thetransmission distance is too far, and thus most communication data islost. Please tryto shorten the transmission distance. Why does the wireless transceiver not charge after a period of time? If you don't use it often, please charge it regularly to keep the power. batteries has internal resistance will automatically discharge, result in it does not durability; Please turn off the switch to charge and unplug the cable in time after full. Why the pairing is successful but there is no sound? 1. Please check if there is any device that affects 2.4GHz, if it may lead to sound cut off, no sound, noise and other phenomena. 2. Please check if the plug is loose? If it is loose, it may have poor contact, which will lead to noise or no sound. Transmitter and receiver usage time Why is it always the transmitter that consumes power especially fast? The transmitter is transmitting signals to the receiver all the time, the workload is bigger, so it consumes power very fast, the receiver just receives signals, so it is not equal. • Quick fix turned into permanent replacement
TLDR: This is an amazing wireless guitar system for the price. The battery lasts me a full 4 hour gig as long as I turn both the transmitter and receiver off in-between sets. Sound quality is great except for the terrifying noise they admit when the battery dies. Full Review: My setup: Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass 5-String Active/Passive switch Fender Rumble 500 Watt Amp with Send-Receive effects running through a Zoom B3n Effects Pedal I bought this Getaria wireless system after my Line-6 G30 bit the dust during the first night of a gig and I couldn't get it working before the second night. Amazon was able to ship the Getaria 2.4GHZ Wireless Guitar System overnight so I decided to give it a shot. I didn't have high hopes for a sub-$40 wireless system but if it worked for one night that's all I needed. I have been shocked and super impressed by how well this wireless system has performed and my $230 Line-6 system has stayed home for the past few months in favor of my Getaria has been on the road with me for 8 more nights. The Getaria 2.4ghz system is for a single user. I am the only guitarist in my band that uses one. My lead singer has a Shure Beta-58 wireless and the other guitarist uses a Line-6 G3 system. Our three systems don't cause any interference with each other. We also use a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer and wireless system isn't affected negatively by it. I've also used it in a festival setting on a big stage and it performed very well. The Getaria 2.4Ghz has great wireless range and hasn't given me any issues with my active/passive bass guitar. I have been able to wander about 40 feet away and still get a signal from my bass guitar to my amp. The wireless transmitter has no problem working with my bass guitar pickups whether they are in active or passive mode. The sound quality of the Getaria 2.4Ghz wireless is fantastic. I haven't noticed any quality loss between my expensive Line 6 systems vs. the Getaria. I have played live with the Getaria and have listened back to my band's board recordings and have been very impressed by the sound quality it carries. My one knock on the sound is the terrifying noise the wireless emits through my amp whenever the battery in the transmitter or receiver dies. As the battery emits it's dying breath it causes the Getaria to emit a sound I can only describe as something I would expect an alien ship to emit as it's shot down above Area-51. It would be a perfect sound for an M. Night Shyamalan movie. The battery life of the Getaria 2.4Ghz guitar wireless system has been impressive and I've been able to use it for a full 4 hour show as long as I remember to turn the transmitter and the receiver off in-between sets. The system comes with a dual usb-c cord so you can charge both the transmitter and receiver at the same time off the same usb outlet. It usually takes about an hour to charge both devices with the included cord. On days when I accidently leave either the transmitter or the receiver on long enough to kill the battery, I'm able to charge them for around a half hour and they last me the rest of my practice session or gig. I have also left the receiver plugged in and charging while in-use and haven't had any issue doing that. It sure beats carrying around a bag or 9v and AA batteries for my previous wireless systems. Overall I have been very impressed by the Getaria 2.4ghz wireless guitar system and would recommend it to anyone needing a budget wireless system or anyone needing a serviceable spare or backup wireless. ... show more

  • Excellent sound, battery life, and easy to connect!
I got tired of being limited to how far I could move when on stage (and at practice), so I decided to give this a try on a whim. The reviews looked good and the price was affordable. I expected to have issues or maybe latency or noise with these, but I was pleasantly surprised that I had nothing of the sort. The wireless devices came in nicely packed box of good quality. When I took them out, they were lightweight (and that worried me a bit from a durability standpoint). I charged them up for about an hour before practice that night. Once I got to the band house, I plugged them in, paired them up, and they worked like a charm. I kept them on for about 2 hours and they still had charge left. No lost signal, no delay in sound, everything was clear and crisp. I ran around the practice space and played and noticed no issues. The furthest I went was about 60 feet from the receiver and it was a direct line of site (we play in an open garage area with no walls). I can't say how these would work through walls. Overall, I'm very impressed with the performance of these. I hope they hold up to some wear and tear, but that will remain to be seen. I'll use them for a couple gigs coming up in mid-May and see how they hold up. Definitely check these out, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Acceptable sound, good connectivity, battery life was an issue
Easy to connect, and work well. Range was good; there was a bit of a signal loss (more on this in a moment). What was challenging was the battery life. Using this from a passive-pickup Strat to both a pedalboard initial input, as well as direct to a solid state amp (note the lack of active pups or a tube amp), they still only worked for ~90 minutes. Then, problematically, they sent a LOUD 'pew' sound through the signal chain (God help you if you had this through a Marshall, turned up) and died. I'm afraid I purchased several sets of these for convenience in songwriting through a rig in various places; they are *perfect* for that use profile with the exception of that sound when the battery charge dies. One can't overlook the price - they are pretty darn inexpensive, and as these are not intended for stage (I'd strongly urge anyone to avoid purchasing these for stage use), they are acceptable. "Good enough," not "excellent." ... show more

  • Awesome!
I've used this wireless system several times over the last few months and it works really well. When I use it I'll play my guitar for 3 hours straight without any problems. It's an excellent product!

  • Better than a cable!
I randomly bought a set of these for my wife about 4 years ago. They have lasted with Heavy use this whole time including a weekly house gig that lasted a couple years. The sound is outstanding! These are the First guitar wireless units I have ever used that actually sound as good or Better than any cable. All buzz and noise are gone. Solid lows and nice crisp highs. Don't know about battery life because we plug the transmitter into a small battery bank sewn onto the guitar strap. I learned a hard lesson with these micro USB connectors. Once you plug a charging cord in NEVER unplug it. So it has had the same cord plugged into it for almost four years. Sadly at a gig 2 weeks ago the amp got knocked over and crushed the receiver. I actually managed to chop a patch cable and tape it back together and it Worked, but it isn't pretty to look at. I bought a cheaper guitar wireless off Amazon to replace it, but it distorts badly unless you rolled the volume on the guitar down about halfway. It was a little better on bass, but I would never use it at a gig. So I bought two more of these Getaria wireless units. The new one came with USB to C cords which is a nice upgrade but I think the same rule applies, plug it in once and leave it alone. I still plug them into battery banks on the guitar straps and on top of the amps. I need to be wireless. I have to go out into the audience area and check the mix as we don't have a soundman. I love how my guitar sounds thru this thing. We have two similar wireless headsets and when you fire all four units up they automatically set themselves on different channels. We played at an airstrip and had no interference problems. Mindless simple. Actually amazing. I have some Very High End wireless gear and it is all a pain in the neck to set up. This new stuff is automatic, cheap easy and could not be any simpler. I am ordering two more sets for backups because these are as good as I have found so far. Highly recommend. Good seller, fast ship. No complaints. ... show more

  • Reliable connection. Great price.
So far, I am very happy with the Getaria GWS-8 wireless transmitter and receiver. Both transmitter and receiver have worked very well with the Markbass bass guitar. After charging the battery prior to the first use, I tested the system during practice for 2-3 hours. With the same 1st battery charge I performed on stage for 1+ hour without any issues. The battery held very well. I do plan to turn off both, transmitter and receiver during breaks to maximize the battery. Both units connect easily as soon as turning them ON. The charging cable provided is quite convenient with a double outlet to charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time. Observations: 1. USB-C connection to both, transmitter and receiver is a bit too tight making the connection a bit hard to insert, however, by flipping the connection 180deg it seems to work better. Be gentle during the connection and if it does not connect easy, then flip the plug around and try again. 2. Stereo version. The Getaria GWS-8 wireless transmitter and receiver are a Mono (1 channel) system. Recommend to create a Stereo version of the wireless transmitter and receiver. 3. Battery Status. Recommend to add a yellow, orange, and red LED to indicate battery status. The current LED only indicated green status. Getaria's instructions and packaging of the GWS-8 are appreciated to include a completely sealed the box with security plastic. I’ll keep an eye on the battery longevity. So far, good. I wished I had waited another week to purchase the GWS-8; it is now on sale $6 off but it was still a good price. ... show more

  • Could be good could be bad
The sound quality is not bad. Can I really don't hear the difference from when i'm plucking my string and the sound coming out my amp. I was super worried about the design fitting into my head guitar. Luckily if it perfectly. The hook up pretty easily. And it's nice not having cables everywhere. The battery life's not that great. When they get low and battery , they start disconnecting off and on. I'm assuming at this moment. It's the battery dying that makes this happen. If it keeps happening , I will have to return these. I really love the idea , and I hope they last. ... show more

  • Decent Wireless System
I just received these and they work as described. Sound is good, distance is good. Battery life last my practice sessions of an hour or two. Not sure how long they will go before the battery runs down. For an inexpensive device I would say it is worth the price.
