I have waited a few months to review these, because I wanted to see if they actually lasted. I am in a working band. We play one or two nights every weekend. Our gigs are 3-4 hours in length. These mics have been great! They sound great. The range is as good as we need for small to medium stages/clubs. The batteries last 4-5 gigs and warn us before just crapping out, so we have never had a problem in the middle of a song. While we try not to drop our mics, we have and have lost a mic yet. They run on two AA batteries and are quick and easy to change, but a small tool (I use a keychain bottle opener) will be helpful. The only negative is that the antennas on the system (which I have in a rack case) broke off rather easily. That did not seem to bother the quality or range though. Also, the power module cracked open when I dropped it once. I just taped it up and kept going. All-in-all I have been very happy with this system. I would recommend it highly and I would buy it again. ... show more

I love this microphones. I was just looking for something that was durable and sounded good with range. Boy was I shocked about the distance and the quality of sound. I thought I was holding a Shure 58 microphone. Great product for the money

    • Great mics that you don't have to eat or yell to be heard.
These mics are metal and heavy, not cheapo plastic like most. They are also loud and clear and very easy to set up.

    • Good Quality product, all metal, easy to use
I just received this system on Saturday, June 29, 2019. It was delivered on time in a well protected package. The box is a nice storage box as well as transport box for the whole system. I easily assembled it with only the power cord and the mixed output cable to connect. Installing the batteries in the microphones was simple. That was all that needed to be done. The microphones all connected to the receiver automatically with all 4 frequencies preset and as far as I can tell are not able to be reset. The microphones have a good feel, are all metal and are sturdy and the system is easy to operate with just the power switch to be turned on and the volume controls to be set for each microphone. The range is great. We tested the system with one of microphones at least 100 feet away outside of the room where the receiver was located. Even with the wall being between the receiver and microphone the sound in the room was sharp and clear. We also tested the system with all 4 microphones on at the same time and did not have any interference or feedback noise. I cannot comment on battery life yet since I only used the system for about an hour. My only negative comment is that the microphones are not very sensitive. They have to be held within a few inches of the mouth to get a reasonable audio signal at the receiver. This is probably not a significant issue when the same person is using the microphone. However, I will be using these microphones in a setting used by many different presenters and also as roving microphones in the audience for people who will be asking questions of those speakers, many of whom will not speak very loudly. This wireless system will be connected to a built in audio system through a 1/4 inch audio input jack. I need to have the microphone volume for the Phenyx sytem at maximum and this audio input volume at 100% AND the audio system volume at least 85% to get a reasonable speaker output volume in the room. However, this is workable considering the very good other characteristic of this system for the price. Great value. ... show more

    • Great Product at an Amazing Price
I was pleasantly surprised the ease of use and voice quality of the Phenyx Pro 4-Channel Wireless Microphone System. There are two ways to get it plugged into your speaker or mixer (via 1/4" for all 4 mics) or via XLR cable for each microphone to manage them separately. I have used the 1/4" method, and found that it works amazing. The system includes a knob to adjust the volume per microphone and designates the frequency for each one. The range is really far as I've been in a separate building (50 yards apart) using a second set, and the microphone from the second building could be picked up from the first building. The most impressive part of the system is the value you get (4 wireless microphones, the system, 1/4" cable). I have literally plugged this directly into a speaker (as well as a Yamaha mixer), and it worked great both scenarios and was easy to setup for a Novice like myself. The battery life lasts pretty long. We used it in a church service which lasts 2-3 hours/service (twice/week), and they usually last a couple of months per microphone (uses 2 AA per microphone). I would definitely recommend this product to others on a budget. This would cost 3-4 times more using larger brand names that have similar quality / features. ... show more

I am a high school youth minister and I purchased this on Oct 2022 to use at my youth group events. Overall they have worked well and I am very pleased. I was frustrated when 3 out of the 4 mics stopped working and after inserting new batteries they still weren't working. Come to find out, I was inserting them backward (flat side should go in first. ) I hope this helps someone else in the future. ... show more

Honestly loved these mics so much the studio I work at is gonna get another. Clear sound. Solid mics. I’ve had the same batteries that came with the mics sense I got them and they work. There is only 1 con for me atleast. The receiver feels very cheap. I guess they had cut costs somewhere but if you’re racking it like I did it’s not an issue. Biggest thing is just to be gentle with the module. The mics I feel could be thrown at wall like an enraged animal with rabies and they’d be fine. 5 stars! Cheers ... show more
