    • Worked for 11 month kitten
My rescue kitten has severe aggressive biting. Due to his weight gain and maturing his bites on my forearms are really bad. I'm a senior lady with minimal fat and his increasingly destructive behavior has scared and hurt me for months. Spaying at 6mos did not alter this unfortunate situation so after discussing with my vet of 30 years I decided to try this product. It took about a week but he finally stopped inflicting puncture wounds and attacking me. There are only 2 negatives a. the behavior seemed to escalate around week 3. I kept collar on for full 30 days instead of replacing at 22 days. (I'm Sr on a budget.) b. The collar is hard to secure. The prongs that fit into the slots are not very tight. Shadow has gotten out of several times but I try to check it multiple times during day. I can recommend this collar for animals who just don't know how hard to bite the hands & arms that feed them. ... show more

Helped calm my cat; however it caused irritation and a vet bill. They shaved the irritated patch and found more around the collar area. He now has to wear a cone to avoid chewing on it.

We have a beautiful calico who was feral. She had come along beautifully, a bit recluse but social with us. I have always been her human. About 2 years ago, my mom became ill and I was away long hours everyday. If my clothes were on the floor she would pee on them. Then mom passed and some new things were coming into our household and some familiar things left. She started peeing on flat surfaces. We had her checked out by the vet and they put her on prozac which only caused her more trauma so we stopped. We have had issues periodically since that time even replaced our carpet with hardwood. A few weeks ago I was ill, she followed me to the bathroom and howled when I lay on the floor so I climbed onto the spare bed. The next day she peed on it twice. Reluctantly I called a local woman who rehomes. She suggested I try this calming collar along with Rocco and Roxie Calming treats. We have a new girl now, she has so much personality, is very vocal and best of all not so skittish. Recently we were gone 5 days, my sister checks the girls twice a day. Not one problem with her hiding or not eating. She greeted my sister everyday! She did have a small accident on a throw rug but my sister said a terrible storm came through.     • Update: doesn’t last. These saved my sanity! Really works!
Update: this stopped working after 2 weeks. Sad it did not last a month. Changed my 5 star to a 2 start rating. After buying the expensive Sentry brand that costs $25 for only 1 collar, I found these that came with 2 for $25. I was a little skeptical since I have not heard of this brand before but these work just as well for half the price! I have 2 cats so these are a lot easier on the wallet which is my main reason for switching brands. 1 cat is very needy, anxious and vocal. She will cry and beg for attention when I’m sleeping or eating. After putting this on her she kind of just does her own thing and is a lot less skittish. 2nd cat is a genius and knows how to unlock my doors, open cabinets, and even out-smarted my automatic feeder. I wanted cats but basically got a 3 yr old toddlers instead. Anyway, I can say he has at least stopped trying to escape outside and slamming my cabinets. He still knows how to get food out of the feeder by shaking it so bits fall out though. Overall this has definitely helped his mischievous demeanor. ... show more
