I should have known better, but I did it anyway and tore a muscle in my back and broke two ribs. As the healing progressed I needed more help than pain patches and a brace, I needed a massage which I can’t afford. I chose this one because of the reviews and they didn’t lie, they even tell you how to adjust the seat if you have trouble reaching your lower back. I’m not going to lie, I cried the first few times because the muscle was just one big knot, but 15min, 15min rest, repeat finally allowed me to rest and sleep for the first time in two weeks. I use it every three days and I have less fatigue which is a most delightful surprise. Osteoporosis prevents the rollers from contact at the upper upper back, but I’m going back for this companies neck and shoulder massager. ... show more

This works decently for a small range of your back if you are tall but for what it is you'd be better off with a pillow style massager than this. The vibrating seat is more of an oddity than anything that helps with muscle pain. Not good for big/tall folks like myself.
