Lightweight enough to move around easily, powerful enough to actually get my neck and shoulders to (gently) pop. If you suffer from back and neck tension, and aren’t in a tax bracket that allows for a daily massage, this is the next best thing. It won’t massage your limbs- you will need one of the $1500+ chairs that weigh the same as a small car for that. BUT for the price point and ease of movement, this is a fantastic product. I ordered this after trying a friend's similar foldable massage chair. First, let me say that it is very heavy. It requires both my husband and myself to carry this. You will need to use the chair after you have moved it. It looks fine, we leave it set up in our family room. At first I found it very painful on my ribs. Then I had two guests try it out and they had the same experience, but somehow watching them helped me realize what the issue was. You need to relax and let your spine move forward and back as the message heads move up and down your back. Resisting and holding your spine straight is what causes the issue. So if you just relax and let the chair move your back you will get a nice muscle message and also get some spine mobilization. The control has a lot of buttons and choices but I find them intuitive and easy to use. The arms are a bit high for me (I'm 5' 3") but I can see where they would assist someone with real back issues to get back up. The neck massage seems to be too high even at the lowest height setting, but again, once I relaxed and didn't resist moving it became comfortable though it is massaging the back of my head rather than my neck. I have left all of the coverings on (the back pad and the head pillow) and don't feel any need for a more intense massage. I haven't tried the heat feature yet as it is still warm here. I like the handy pocket on the arm for storing the remote. The instructions say to not fall asleep in the chair, but it can be very hard to stay awake! I am glad that I purchased this.     • Good small massage chair with many options.
I use this chair often and find it relieves a lot of body stress. I mostly wanted a small footprint massage chair that would do a decent job. One of the best features of this chair is that the neck massager can be adjusted up or down to hit just the right spot. I'm 5"4" and the back massager doesn't cover my whole back from low spine to shoulders. But I didn't expect any massage chair would without paying a hefty price for a very large chair. I can easily adjust my body position by sitting on a pillow to hit my low back and then recline the chair to hit my upper back. Adjusting my arm position also allowed the massager to hit the spots under my shoulder blades. Just expect that you will need to make your own body adjustments, but I don't mind sitting in the chair for a longer massage period to get all spots. I prefer to use the back massager with the padded liner but the neck massager without the padded cover. Each to her own. Other reviewers have commented on the hard arm rests but they don't bother me at all. The one thing I don't care for is the vibrating seat. Vibration without massage doesn't do much for me. I've had the chair for about five months and the seat cushion is squashed down so the mechanism is poking up and a bit uncomfortable. I just keep a cushion over the seat. The chair does need to be plugged into a wall socket but the cord is very long. While the chair is movable, I get my husband to move it more than a couple of feet because it is a bit too heavy for me at 60 years old. I would buy it again, but if I wanted to pay more I would go for a stationary chair with a fuller massage experience. ... show more

    • Best money ever spent
I have major back and neck issues, including three back surgeries. I use to have a professional massage therapist appointment every other week. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t compare to the massage therapist! However, because you can’t make a massage appointment every day or the days you need it most.. this has been a life saver! If I’m doing a lot on my feet or bending, my back is in bad shape. I sit on this for 30-60 minutes every day or longer if I’m really in pain. I actually haven’t had to make a massage appointment in a year! I think the difference is being able to have a decent amount of massaging every day, rather than once every two weeks. It’s well worth the money!! I’m saving so much without the massage appointments. Note.. If you are on the shorter side it may not be great. I am 5’8” and sitting all the way to the back and upright, the neck rollers are in a perfect place for me! They do adjust up and down, but not sure if it would be comfortable if you are maybe less than 5’6”? But worth a try if you can return it?! Also love the heating feature esp in the winter but it also really helps with my back muscles! ... show more
