I don't write a lot of reviews but I am so impressed with COMFEE’ 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System! I bought this back in January of 2023, the hubby was dragging his feet on putting this in so it actually did not get put in till about May, with that being said, hubby said it was actually pretty easy to install following the instructions. We have terrible city water where we live and my TDS reader, reads our unfiltered tap water at over 500 PPM! Needless to say for many years I would just buy drinking water and distilled water for our humidifier. Those days of carrying in all that water are over!! I just took a reading of our RO water and it only reads three parts per million, the highest it has read was 12 PPM. We are still using the same filters that came with the RO system, I do have backup filters but I have not had to change them yet! It is just the two of us living here, so we don't use a lot of drinking water everyday but I would say maybe a gallon a day, and in the winter months it is more like 2 gallons as I use it in our humidifier and to water plants. I hope this review helps someone as I was not for sure how good this RO system would work at such a low price compared to others, if you have any doubt about ordering this RO system, go for it! I am so impressed with it and so happy to not have to buy and carry gallons of water into our home! I am going to re-post when I actually have to change the filters but as of right now going on almost 2 years and I am completely impressed especially with how bad our tap water actually is, I really thought I was going to have to change the filter out much sooner! If you end up being disappointed with this product, then there is something wrong with your purchase and you should immediately contact the company to get a new one because this RO system is fantastic! ... show more

    • Good value, easy to install, and replacement filters are easy to find But...
I wish they would have sent the Pressure tank in the "Off" position to start with for installation. I had to drain mine as it wasn't and once under the counter, I could not read the tiny print on the thing. So even if they don't they should make the writing on it higher contrast so it can be read easier. Not the end of the world by any means, I am a very tall guy so spending all day under the sink(not for just this installation. this took about an hour) was just sooo much fun. and then trying to read molded in print that is small was a pain. also the water faucet for it is beyond cheap and flimsy and will be the first thing I upgrade later. ... show more

    • Supply valve leaks 3 times in a row I'm a plumber
The osmosis works great the water is tasty as far as the install the supply valve is garbage this is the third one I have installed and the valve is junk it leaks each time and cost me a trip to the store to get a new valve 5 stars is for the overall performance

    • Great water, Leaks bad!
The water is very good. This thing turns muddy, highly chlorinated water into very good water Started leaking at one of it's many o-rings and flooded our house in our absence. I'm s big guy and an engineer, I challenge anyone to get the filter canisters tight enough to be reliable.

Get this all hooked up, and the water tee included is junk. But they of course don't sell this specialty part in store..... Makes me so mad. Such cheap junk the water sprayed me in the face. Edit 3-11 It works quite well after a new water tee. I love the quality of thr water, and there have been no leaks so far. With the total cost in mind this unit is a heck of a deal. Even my picky gf who only liked bottled water will drink this. So definitely has a clean crisp taste. I am not a plumber and this was fairly do able. Tho I will say that most people should hire a plumber to save the heartache. Or buy a new dang 3/8 water tee right when you order this filter! Updated review from 1 star to 4. ... show more

    • No-Brainer to set up
When I first opened the boxes and saw all the hoses and attachments, I was admittedly intimidated. Fortunately the instructions were pretty well written and everything was color coded (including the hoses). The set-up took about an hour, and although I did spill a bit of water (they warn you in the instructions to have a bucket ready) I was quite pleased with the final result. Water looks and tastes amazing. The holding tank is a bit small but for my needs it seems adequate. Just started using it so I cannot comment on cartridge longevity. Really nice faucet and hardware included in the price. I would recommend to anyone seeking highly filtered water in relatively small quantities. The filter is rated to 75 gallons per day, but you only have about 3 gallons or RO on hand at any point. After you have emptied the reservoir, the unit will only produce a bit more than 3 (us) gallons per hour. ... show more

    • Works, but beware
This item is not bad to install, works well with a good flow quickly after installing. But the customer service for the company is terrible. I have ordered two of these. The first one had an a broken part issue, and instead of the customer service being willing to send a replacement part they had me uninstall the whole system and return it to Amazon and order a new one. So be aware of that, but the price is cheap so there is that. ... show more

This RO system has been working nicely. Water here is terrible and I have to change filters more often than I would like to but much better than buying bottled water.!!!
