I saw some concerns that this jacket runs small, so I ordered an XL. It’s actually a tiny bit bigger than I expected but it’ll fit well with a sweater or layers underneath. I love the color, and the liner is nice and light so this is going to be easy to pack without taking up too much space, which I wanted. I like the soft inner liner, and the outer material nylon-y but not rubbery or plastic. It’s not overly noisy like some rain jackets are. I am a true to size XL/14 to 16 depending on the brand and I ordered a 2X and it fit PERFECTLY. I’m so glad I read the review to size up because it does run small. That being said, it’s perfect for cold California weather. Very lightweight, lining is soft and comfortable and great for drizzle weather. Folds up nicely, not bulky at all and covers my bum and hips but still looks flattering. I probably can’t wear a bulky sweater under this, but it’s great for T-shirts underneath or a thin, long sleeve. Definitely keeping and recommending this. Worth the money! ... show more

I found the coat comfortable and roomy enough that I am able to wear a hooded sweatshirt with it. I am 5’10” and the coat did go past my backside. I bought this jacket so I can walk in our Seattle rain. It’s lined but not a heavy jacket. It keeps we warm and dry but I don’t overheat in it on my walks. Style and quality is spot on.
